Perfect for motorcycle travel!

I've taken two motorcycle trips with this, now. One, for 2,400 miles; another for 3,600 miles. I didn't even notice the clinks of the zipper that others did --well, I noticed it when I intended to, but otherwise, it wasn't enough to bring my attention to it as a concern. The bag is not thick and cushioned, but that's fine for me. It rolls up into a tiny roll, which is perfect for packing into limited space on a motorcycle trip. I usually sleep in my clothes while camping on the road, and can always wear other warm stuff (long johns, etc.) if need be. This keeps me warm enough on cold (non-freezing nights). For me, it was PERFECT. And when I stay at friends' or family's houses while on the road, I use this and my roll-up camping pillow to sleep on top of their beds, instead of using their sheets and blankets. Read more

Good Sleeping Bag Liner or Warm Weather Sleeping Bag

Bought this for my spring and summer cycling - camping trips. It is basically a fleece blanket which zips up. Very comfy and light and rolls up pretty compact 4" x 10"), weighs about 6 Oz. I have also used this as a liner in my three season sleeping bag. Helps to keep warm on really chilly nights and also helps to keep the inside of the sleeping bag cleaner. So for backpacking or bike touring during the summer months this is a great alternate to the traditional sleeping bag. It is not real thick so it is not much use under 60 or 55 degrees by itself. If the zipper was a little more heavy duty I would have given it a 5, but you do have to be careful with the zipper as it seems a little light weight to me. Read more

Fuzzy feelings and this Fleece!

I bought it to be insulation for my hammock (to go under my sleeping bag) and it did the job. Very much worth it! 1) :D Kept me warm from toes to head, as long as it was under me. 2):D Very lightweight to take on my bike trip. 3) :D Came with a nice stuff sack and elastic bands to keep it rolled. 4) :/ Left colored fuzzy's wherever it touched! good as a blanket

My boyfriend and I each got one before traveling to use instead of a bulky sleeping bag. They simply weren't warm enough. They are great as fleece blankets and are easily zipped, unzipped or zipped together. They are not very long though. They are also relatively thin. They held up well to hard use; no rips, pilling or broken zipper, but were just not as warm as we were expecting. For the price, they are a good value and I haven't actually used it as a sleeping bag liner, it may be great who knows. It's a solid product, not a spectacular one and definitely not enough on it's own unless it stays warm out all night. Read more

Multi-purpose, thin, good for hot summer nights or added warmth liner in sleeping bag

Purchased for my husband to use on ship rack. He said it was thinner than expected. Definitely better for a warm summer night, not freezing inside. But I think it would be great inside another sleeping bad as an added warmth liner as well. It can have multiple purposes, while being easy to store and carry. Its a thin fleece but overall it's not bad. Read more

worked perfectly

This sleeping bag worked out perfectly for me. I would have paid double the amount. I took it on a back packing trip to africa, it took up very little space in my 40L pack and weighed almost nothing. It kept me comfy when it was warmer at the start of the night (roughly 64 F), and when i got in and zipped up it kept me warm through the cool part of the night (roughly 55 F). Also, i have washed it twice now, and had no problems either time. the only negative thing i can say, is that the zipper comes down if you move around a lot. Fantastic price for a great product. STAY AWAY! Once a good product, not any longer.

I purchased the same blanket several years ago and have enjoyed its use greatly. The blanket was thick, well constructed, and very warm. I decided to purchase another blanket and I was shocked when I received it. The fleece itself is very thin and cheaply made. The loft has decreased by half, maybe more. The construction throughout the blanket is shoddy with poor stitching throughout. I would return the fleece, but it makes no financial sense to do so. Perhaps my pets will enjoy a new blanket. If its not gettting below 50 this is it.

Bought this for a few summer hikes in the desert. Small and light weight enough to let me double my food supply and thus stay out longer but one night it dropped to 45 and I woke up freezing, the rest of the nights were low 60's and I was fast asleep. Since then I have also used it as an extra liner inside a 4 season bag as it washes easily and adds a few degrees of comfort. Well worth the price. Read more
