My 9 month old gets bored in the backseat so I bought this to hold a Kindle Fire so she could watch her music videos on it. It took two seconds to put on the center seat headrest in my middle row and it's holds the Kindle perfectly. I can even position the tablet where it's tilted down a bit so it's easier for her to see. This was such a great purchase. It’s perfect when we need a movie for our son to watch to make the last 30-40 minutes of our stretch in our drive to see my husband’s parents. I found it super easy to put together and it fits both my iPad and my iPhone, which was a pleasant surprise. The main piece fit right onto the headrest, and the Velcro that secures the iPad holder onto the main piece is nice and sturdy. Bought to use in our 2018 Tahoe. We have a child in a seat facing backwards. The midrow bucket seats headrests dont go up and down so our options were limited. We have a really old tablet for my daughter. It's thicker than most tablets on the market so I liked the fact that this said it would fit a tablet and case which meant my old thick tablet would fit.
