This kit does a lot more than just “technically protect your device.” It actually makes the Ally X feel better to use while keeping it safe, which is kind of the whole point. The standout piece is the TPU case. It fits like it was made specifically for the device, no weird gaps or loose edges. It adds noticeable grip, which is huge because the Ally can feel a bit slippery on its own. It also gives you a decent layer of drop protection without turning the thing into a brick. The built in kickstand is a nice bonus and actually useful. The carrying case is solid too. It has a clean embossed design and enough space to store the charger and a few small accessories without feeling cramped. It does what you expect a travel case to do, which is protect your device without being annoying to use. The screen protector is a nice add in. It goes on clean and adds that extra layer of protection for the display, which is always the first thing to get wrecked if something goes wrong. There are a couple minor quirks. The front flap on the case is a bit confusing and not super intuitive, but it still adds some extra protection. Also, while it works with different versions, the fit seems slightly better on the Xbox version. Overall, this is a well rounded protection bundle. Comes with a screen protector as well as a case to add protection to your screen but overall to protect your ally x when transporting.
