I decided to purchase this camera to livestream our kids games through GameChanger. You can live stream with the IPhone but we live in a hot climate and the iPhone gets extremely hot and won’t make it through an entire game. I looked at several webcams and ended up with Mevo because it integrates into GameChanger easily. Of course it is pricy! $400 new (at the time) and I was lucky to find one open box (it was new with an open box 🙌) for about $320. I bought the protection plan which put me at around $350ish. The camera is great and live-streaming is nice so that family and friends can tune in. Like I said, very easy integration with GameChanger. The cons are the limited zoom capabilities. It’s been pretty good mounted for baseball games but it’s not great from further distances. Also it has to be connected to WiFi which isn’t available at field so I have to connect it to the data on my phone. I have two phones so NBD but if I didn’t then my phone would be tied up the entire game. Again the phone can get pretty hot! It also needs to be relatively close to the camera to keep the connection. I’m very happy with the purchase and investment in the camera. I have 4 kids in sports so the years that I would use it make it worth the price. Read more

This is my go to for sports streaming. I haven't found anything better when it comes to the combination of easy streaming software, solid image quality, and great battery life. Has a good field of view to capture baseball/softball from the backstop of a normal field or on the end of a basketball or volleyball court. Doesn't quite stretch for a sideline view in basketball unless the bleachers are high. Regularly get 6 hours of battery and it can withstand pretty hot conditions without overheating (though 100 degrees in sun will shut it down eventually). I wish they had 4k and wide fov, but it is still the best all round tool for the game. Read more
