this is a nice dress. fabric has substance. It is not see-thru Color is true to picture. However, it runs quite small. I bought a 10/12 (L) first for my 8 year old granddaughter (who is a size 10). I returned it and got the size 14 (XL). It fit good. Which means it is a size smaller than it should be. The measurements listed on the size chart are not even as large as listed if you just measure the dress. those measurement should NOT be considered your child's measurements. Also, with the first laundering, the dress shrunk 2 inches. So, if is short on your child (when new) it will be too short after washing. Read more
