Gorgeous, Well-Made, Everything I Hoped For!
Y'all, I am in LOVE with these pants! They are so well made, comfortable, lined to above the knee, flow well, and fit like a dream. Not too tight on waist or hips, not oversized and frumpy. It's hard to find a plus pant that is fashionable and current, but these are spectacular! They are long -- I'm 5'10" and they drag the floor when I wear flip flops, look great with a stacked sandal or wedge. The finished edges are well done, and the color is a warm ecru white. I love the look of cuffs touching the ground on wide leg pants, but the waist can be pulled up high to keep them off the ground with flats for my height. These are nice enough to wear to a cocktail party with a cream sparkly top, have doubled on a trip as business casual pants with a relaxed blazer and crisp T, and of course, are right at home on a cruise ship or pool party. Everywhere I go, I am complimented and asked where I got them. These look and feel better to me than the Free People, Saks and Neiman Marcus versions at 5x the cost. There are lots of choices, but this complex pattern, lining, texture, finish add up to an item that looks and wears much pricier. The liner can be cut out, but my honest opinion is that this elevates the pants to a classier, quiet rich look that doesn't scream look at me. This is a high end look whisper that is stylish and on trend. I can't speak highly enough of these pants. For shorter women, heels are a must. I decided to buy the cropped bra top that matches, and tried it on as a set yesterday. I don't love the top as much as the pants (thin straps and a little bunchy in places), but when I pulled the pants up and the top over the waistband, it looks like a one piece jumpsuit! Add a jacket or kimono, some layered necklaces, a pair of cork wedge sandals, and I'm a VERY happy camper. The top is on sale right now, so go look under The Drop crochet if you want a truly elevated outfit! Read more
