The Drop Womens Maya Silky Slip Skirt

I had received a similar skirt from Amazon through a different designer and got this one second. I was really turned off by the first skirt and returned it so I didn't have high hopes for this one. I tried it on anyway and I'm so glad I did. This material is nice and thick so that you have the satin look but without all the unflattering lumps and bumps. The waistband seems tight and unforgiving(I ordered a Med and a 40 in the hips) before I put it on I thought I wasn't gonna get it over my hips without a tear! I was pleasantly surprised again; the thick waistband not only makes for a great french tuck but it slid right up over my curvy hips and right up to my waist where it sits nice and snug - NOT TIGHT. The previous skirt like this that I ordered also had loose material at the stomach thus exentuating my mid-40's tummy pouch, this skirt is sewn and constructed so well the material and line fit over each part of my hips, waist, tummy, and bum just perfectly! This! So pretty. Effortlessly fabulous. Looks high class and can easily be dressed up or classy casual. Lightweight silky feel. I got on sale for $18 and will buy at regular $50 in another color. I would say the sizing is off. I usually wear a large. I had to return it and purchase an extra large there definitely is no stretch to the fabric. It did not wrinkle which was great. The color was fantastic and the green that I ordered, I received many compliments. It was comfortable a perfect length for me however, I’m very tall. I recommend it. You can dress it up or probably dress it down for winter or fall either way, even summer I bought a neutral color so I could do this great by definitely considering purchasing again in a different color.
