I live in Texas and our weather can fluctuate from chilly mornings to hot afternoons in the fall. I have been on the hunt for a lightweight trench coat that is modern, on trend, versatile, and lightweight at a great price point. This meets all of my expectations! It does run a bit large. I originally ordered my normal size M (8/10) but had to reorder and size down to a small for a more tailored fit. Don't get me wrong, it still has give and allows for wearing a heaver material garment underneath (sweaters, professional blazer, etc.) while not looking boxy. The beautiful draping is what really set this apart from other trench coats! I'm 5' 6" and the length hits me beautifully at the calf. It's buttery soft and fully lined. This is a nice trench coat, fabric is medium weight - not too stiff, not too soft. It has classic styling without being stuffy like Burberry or London Fog. Originally ordered 3X because I like a roomy coat, but it was too large so downsized to 2X. Length is very good, mid-calf on me at 5'6." Eh, I wanted to love this bargain and I took others' advice and ordered two sizes down and it's just a no. The cut is really unflattering, it seems longer in person than it looks in the picture (I'm 5'7"), and it's tight across the shoulders, but if I'd have gone up a size I'd be swimming in it more than I already am. A beautiful coat that fits perfectly. Except, it is dry clean only per the label. I purchase due to the listing saying it was machine washable. The label says NO. Still a nice coat, but not what I wanted in an easy care overcoat. Read more
Absolutely gorgeous trench coat. I am 5'4", 185 lbs, 47" bust. I ordered this coat per Amazon's recommendations which was a XXL and it swallowed me whole. I reordered an XL and it was still too big. I ordered again and just received the L and it fits perfectly with just enough room for a light sweater. The detailing on this coat is fabulous. I love the fabric it drapes very nicely. It feels like I looked at at least a hundred trench coats on Amazon and lots of high priced name brands. I finally decided on this one as the fabric content most closely matched that of the most expensive trench I found (you know the one) I'm so happy I did. This is definitely the best bargain trench anywhere hands down. I also very much appreciate that it was NOT vacuum packed. I spent a couple hours steaming another trench coat that was not nearly as nice as this one and came vacuum sealed. I have decided anything else that is packaged that way is going straight back without even being opened. I'm sick of steaming clothes for hours. Read more
I buy a lot on Amazon but rarely do reviews but had to give a big shout out on this trench. I had been toting with the idea of splurging on a Burberry or similar since the long trench is so on trend this season. But my Amazon prime wardrobe stylist found this one for me for my April shipment and wow, I think I can hold off on the Burberry. It's that good. Very light fabric that is crisp and feels tailored. Nice stitching details and really well cut. Perfect proportions and length. Very happy with it and an incredible value for the price. Looks luxe. Did run big IMO. I usually wear a large as I'm size 10 or 12 but the Medium was way better in the shoulders especially and still buttoned comfortably even with a 36DD bust. LOVE this trench! Read more
