Pretty black slacks that are well made but they run large. I would size down if I ordered them again. I got the black pair and may get another in a different color next time remembering to size down. I bought a pair of the Black Linen and I sized up just in case. These pants were too big in the waist (that's on me) and the legs were more flared than I prefer but not so bad that I wouldn't wear them. The length was good. They just touched the top of my foot, so the ankle didn't show but they also didn't hit the ground. I liked the color. I liked the weight. The material is neither too thin (can't see through them) nor too thick (can wear in the summer). They are comfortable. I went ahead and ordered two more pairs in a size down. One in Black Linen and one in Stormy Weather. The Black Linen were snug in the waist - more than a size down should be - but the leg flare was perfect. So I was looking forward to the Stormy Weather ones. The Stormy Weather color is very pretty, so I'm really disappointed in the lack of quality control. They fit good in the waist and nowhere near as snug as the Black Linens. Quality issue #1. One of the buttons was too big for the button hole. Quality issue #2. Neither are that big of a deal. However, the pants length came about 1 inch past the ground and the flare was so big that you couldn't tell if I was wearing pants or a dress. I was disappointed with these slacks. While they were advertised as black, they appeared more navy in person. After just one wear and one wash, they faded so much that I had to throw them away—definitely not what I expected for the high price point. On a positive note, the fit and style were great, but the quality just didn’t hold up. I wish I had taken a photo to show the extent of the fading. Read more
