The Gym People leggings are amongst my favorite for comfort and fabric thickness so I was excited to get the skirt. For reference, I am 5’4, 145 lbs and I wear a medium in skirts and pants. Pros -Suuuuper comfortable. You forget you even have it on - Very high waist, like up to under my bra strap. This could make for an interesting style choice where you pair with a bodysuit, or a shirt that is tucked in, or a crop top, etc. - Despite the super high waist, it didn’t squeeze me so it stayed comfortable after hours of wearing - Material is stretchy and will wash and travel well Cons - The material is a little thin. If you look at the photo of my butt (the things I do for you people!) you can see a little lumpiness on my thigh. - The thinness of the material makes it bunch up at my hips, even though it fits me well and there’s a lot of stretch left in the skirt. I had to wear with a longer top that came down to my hips to cover that bunching. - What is UP with that slit at the back? Well-fitting pencil skirts do need a slit for walking, bit this one is a bit too high to be that. So then I’m confused. When are we meant to wear this skirt? Clearly not at the gym, or to work, so…Grocery store? Idk I love their leggings, but I am not a huge fan of this skirt. Read more

This skirt is beautiful and stylish but unfortunately, it does not fit. I ordered a medium as I am in between sizes and can sometimes fit in one, but this is tight everywhere. It is activewear, so I expected some degree of tightness, but on my body it just accentuates the negative. I gave it to my daughter to try on since she is taller and thinner, and she also thinks it is too small, especially in the waist. It seems sturdy and well made, and it is actually comfortable. The fabric is thick and stretchy. I think it would be great for office or more casual wear, although the slit in the back is rather high. The length of the skirt hits about mid-calf, a flattering length for taller ladies. If you are unsure about your size, size up. Read more
This is a really nice pencil skirt! I was surprised by the low reviews, but I can see why people wouldn't like it - it doesn't leave much to the imagination. Unless you wear this with shapewear or have the perfect shape already, it's going to show any (and every) lump and bump in your stomach, thighs, and butt. The slit is sexy without going incredibly high, but it also depends on how long your legs are and how high you pull the skirt, which can be adjusted. I like mine a bit higher waisted, as I carry most of my weight in my stomach. I find the material soft and incredibly stretchy, and very comfy. I like that it doesn't wrinkle, especially when hung in the closet. It's a great skirt at a nice price! Read more
This bodycon pencil skirt is the kind of piece that earns its place in a wardrobe by being genuinely adaptable, whether you're keeping it casual or putting together something more polished. The fabric is soft and comfortable against the skin without feeling flimsy, and the weight hits a balance that makes it wearable across seasons rather than being a strictly warm- or cool-weather piece. The construction is solid throughout, with clean, even stitching that holds its shape and gives the impression it will hold up well over time rather than pilling or stretching out after a few wears. What makes this skirt stand out is how much range the slit gives you. Worn as-is, it has a sleek, put-together look that works dressed up with heels or dressed down with a fitted top and sneakers. Fold the waist down and shorten the silhouette, and shift the slit to the front for a completely different vibe. It's a small design detail that opens up a lot of styling options. For dressing up, it pairs well with a blouse or structured top, and for a more relaxed look a simple tee tucked in does the job just as well. If you're looking for one skirt that can genuinely pull double duty across occasions and seasons, this one delivers. Read more

This stretchy long pencil skirt made with athletic fabric runs a little small, with the waist and hip area being very tight and with compression qualities. The description does state it's "bodycon" fitting, so it's meant to be very tight, and indeed, I do agree. The skirt would work well with a cropped top or a hip length boxy top, as the tummy area will be nicely squeezed in by the skirt. The slit of the skirt in the back goes up pretty high, so I personally would wear a pair of spandex shorts under this skirt, or alter the skit to make the slit a little shorter. I think the slit could just go knee length and be fine... currently it goes up 3 inches past my knees, and I'm 5'5", and am reviewing a size L. I personally think this skirt is a little too revealing to wear to work to be professional. The slit needs to be toned down a little! Otherwise, for quality, this is five stars! Read more
I used to own a skirt that looked similar to this, so I was excited to see this product. I like the fact that it is stretchy, but I don't love the shiny fabric. It is shinier than my leggings, which is saying something. The fabric is also very thin, and I'm not sure I would wear it, if only for that reason. I like the slit and the length, but the thin, shiny fabric is a deal-breaker for me. Otherwise, it seems well made, and the style is great. For $25, it will be a great skirt for the right buyer; it's just not for me. Read more
