I was actually looking into denim skirts recently but hadn’t ended up ordering one, so when I saw this one I figured let’s try it out. It’s very cute! It’s very stretchy and quite comfortable. Breakdown- I believe it runs TRUE TO SIZE. Regretfully I sized up, not knowing if it would run small. In its own it would have fit better as a small, but the elastic in it gives a lot of flexibility with sizing as well. The length is quite modest; for reference, I am 5,’1” and it falls just above the knee of me. I think it is tall girl friendly! I had it pulled up to about mid-waist, so about half way between hips and belly button, and it was still on the longer side. I think this makes the skirt nicer for most women as SO many bottoms are micro mini or mini now and don’t offer much forgiveness with bending over lol. This is comfortable and reasonably lengthed enough I think you could wear it running errands or going out without the constant fear of accidentally exposing yourself. I normally prefer to go shorter (since I am pretty short myself) so will probably end up gifting this to someone more average height since I think it would flatter that body type very nicely. Being a millennial, it very much reminds me of an adult version of the Jean skirts we wore back in the 2000s-2010s. It’s very cute, the denim color is lovely, and the subtle distressing is complimentary and modern, while not having to stand pin-straight to avoid the booty showing. I think if you have a booty (I, very clearly do not) it would work for you too! The stretch in the fabric would easily flatter curves, hips or butt. For about $28 I think it’s absolutely worth it. It feels well made and is really cute. There’s a ton of different ways you can style this. I appreciate that it’s true to size and can honestly flatter so many different body types. Read more

This skirt has plenty of stretch making it really comfortable. Fits true to size. Looks good with a variety of tops or over a swimsuit. The fabric isn’t too thick so great for warm weather. I got this for my teenage daughters and they both said it was too long. I’ll probably trim some length off the bottom since it’s a raw hem anyway. Their legs are pretty n the shorter side so if you’re taller I’m sure that won’t be an issue. The skirt is well Made with even stitching. Read more

I absolutely love this jean skirt! The material is very comfortable and has a nice amount of stretch, which makes it easy to wear all day. I ordered a medium, but I probably could have gone with a small. That said, it still fits very nicely, and adding a belt makes it perfect. The design is really cute, and the length is exactly what I was hoping for. I’m petite, so I need something shorter, but at 50 I’m not looking for a super short skirt either. This one hits that sweet spot. Not too long and not too short. It’s flattering, comfortable, and trendy. I can already tell I’ll be wearing this a lot as the weather starts warming up. Definitely a great addition to my spring and summer wardrobe! I highly recommend this jean skirt. You will love it. I love THE GYM PEOPLE's clothing! Read more

This denim mini skirt is really cute and comfortable. The stretchy fabric makes it easy to move in, and the ripped details with the frayed hem give it a casual, trendy look. It’s the kind of piece that pairs well with simple tops, tanks, or sweaters for an effortless outfit. I also like that it has real pockets, which is always a plus. The material feels soft for denim and doesn’t feel stiff like some jean skirts can. Read more

The THE GYM PEOPLE Women’s Ripped Denim Mini Skirt is a fun, casual piece that generally delivers on the look shown in the listing. The distressed/ripped detailing gives it that relaxed, slightly edgy denim style that pairs well with casual outfits like graphic tees, tanks, or oversized sweaters. The overall design is cute, and it’s easy to incorporate into a summer wardrobe. The mini length works well for casual outings, and the distressed elements add some personality so it doesn’t feel like a plain denim skirt. Where the skirt falls a little short for me is in the overall quality and construction. The denim feels somewhat lighter and less structured than I expected, and the finishing details aren’t especially refined. It’s not poorly made, but it doesn’t have the sturdiness or polish you sometimes see in higher-quality denim pieces. The fit is also a bit hit-or-miss. It works well enough, but it doesn’t feel especially tailored or flattering in the way some denim skirts do. Depending on body shape, it may require some trial and error with sizing to get the right fit. Overall, this is a perfectly serviceable casual denim mini skirt that looks good for everyday wear, but the materials and construction feel more average than standout. If you’re mainly looking for a cute, inexpensive distressed denim skirt for casual outfits, it does the job — just don’t expect premium denim quality. Read more

I love that athletic companies are making clothes for athletic bodies! This skirt is super cute and has a lot of stretch so if you got a dump truck or thick thighs (or both!) this was made for you. I haven’t worn a skirt in some time, mostly because the style has gotten shorter and shorter to the “micro-skirt” trend last year that had me thinking the next skirt might just be a pair of underwear open at the bottom 🤭 I took a risk on this skirt because it didn’t look too short. I am happy to report it wasn’t short on me at all. I love the pockets on the back they’re perfectly placed to accentuate those muscular glutes 🍑 you’ve worked so hard on. The one detail I didn’t notice right away but once I did had me like “Awwww!” There’s a heart on the button. Love this skirt and can’t wait to wear it when it’s warmer out! Pretty good stretchy and comfortable jean skirt. It's a tad on the bigger side for me in the waist, but it will work. I got a size s, and I am 5'6 125 lbs for reference. It's a good length, not super short, and shapes to your body without being restricting. Read more
