These bags are very good. Colonization rate is normal and not any different than any other brands I’ve used and I see the same results compared to other more expensive brands. No contamination, great moisture level, good quality for a more reasonable price. And 3pb bags are prime and can get them way quicker than other brands. So 10/10 for me in every way. Did break and shake after grain portion was 100% colonized. And the bag opened up. The bad part was I was being gentle. The worst part is the time lost and the money spent on everything else it takes to innoculatea bag and have it colonize. I am still under 30 days, but whst if I didn't contaminate the bag. I taped it up. I have learned a lot in the 2 months since I started looking into mycology. If you are a newcomer don't give these companies your money. You can find plenty of vendors whose products come with guidance thru social media. They sell you more than just a product they are with to guide you in every step of the way. Also, even though they seem easy and inexpensive all in one bags have a very low success rate. Even when successful the yield is often low. Do your research and find someone you can trust. Read more

Purchased three of these and three from North Spore to test drive. All North Spore bags completed their flushes and are retired while only one Booming Acres bag has produced fruit and is currently ready for 1st flush. The other two bags are problematic with one turning solid white 2 weeks ago (but still no pins) and the 3rd split a seam as i was breaking up the myco during mixing and never recovered. Based on visual comparison, the Booming Acre medium appears significantly drier the North Spores and the bag that produced fruit developed much slower/differently. And, it appears to contain mica, which attaches to the root of fruit and needs to be removed after harvest. Exact same source material and environment for both brands with vastly different results. perhaps I got a bad batch. Read more

Have been using this company's products for a while now, never been disappointed! Customer service is great! These don't come with spores but none of the grow kits online do. Super easy to use, grew super fast, and we got 3 ounces of dried mushrooms from this one bag! Crazy good product! Doesn't cost a lot either which is great. So I'm kind of on the fence with this one. I've used others complete grow bags and had no problems with germination or growth. The booming acres bag looked Actually well built,and even easy to understand instruction for someone that is just starting out.. as for me and the The grow bag I received,today makes 3 weeks and I see absolutely nothing. No mycelium,no pins and definitely no mushrooms. The only thing I noticed is condensation on the inside of the bag as if to much moisture was added to the bag. Now I'm unsure if I should buy equipment from booming acres or try somewhere else🤔 idk,may just be a bad bag I received. Read more
