These DVDs are a mish-mash compilation of snippets from various old resources. Much of the video quality is sub-par (pun intended). I was hoping to learn the basics, in an organized fashion, and the rules of the games (you will not find that here). I have been watching on I/O cable a 13 section series in HD with Scott Sackett. If you can find this, it was what I was looking for....a step by step instruction good for the beginner up the the experienced, perfect video quality, no monkey business about gambling in golf. I have never written a review before, but I had to rave about this video. There are 5 two sided DVD's included with this video; that's the equivalent of 10 DVDs. I have barely scratched the surface and have already learned so much. The DVD's are absolutely packed with information. I am a beginning golfer and wanted to pick up a few pointers. This video teaches fundamentals and more advanced lessons. It has given me so many excellent pointers that I have improved my (pretty awful) game by a number of strokes. There are sections aimed at beginners and ones for more advanced golfers. There are sections for women and for junior golfers. I think I will be able to use it for years to come. I thought this set would be nice seeing as there are several well known names in it and a complete 5 discs...the biggest problem is until you get to disk 3 you are watching for 30 seconds then 2 minutes then 15 seconds...going thru menu after menu...I cant say anything about disk 4 and five all though it looks like these are for kids and ladies...I have the old Bob mann videos which basically run for an hour straight and found them to be much better...sometimes more is not better.
