I followed the review advice and ordered a size smaller. They did not fit. Pantaloons should be a little baggie. I think the issue is with today’s sense of style. Everything nowadays is slim fit so when people get these and they are slightly baggie. they don’t feel right in them. I’m 6’3” 240. I usually wear an XL tall with a 38” waist 38x36 fits me perfectly. I have a slight belly but not too extreme. I originally ordered these as large and they were a bit too tight. I probably could have worn them but they were definitely a bit too tight. My usual size fit me perfectly in the waist and the hips have a slight bagginess which looks perfect. They are 100% cotton so they must be washed in cold and hung dried. These are made exceptionally well with the buttons sewed on very securely and the material is very thick. I suggest ordering your usual size. Read more

I was initially super hesitant to buy these because I was worried the material would be junky and that the cut wouldn’t suit my figure. Neither of those are a problem at all! The material feels almost like denim, which helps it holds its shape in the thigh and not get this weird, parachute pant type of look. I would be a bit concerned with chafing if I was expecting to be walking/running around a lot while wearing these, just because the material is so thick/stiff. Nothing about the fit is uncomfortable— it feels flattering and looks good, too. It isn’t necessarily form fitting, but the stiff material cuts a classic silhouette that looks great on everyone! Fit was true to size; I chose to size down just slightly (rather than sizing up like I would for “women’s” clothing) due to the high rise fit and my overall figure, which worked out perfectly for me. For reference— My usual pants size is between a 28 and a 30. I always wear my pants in a high rise fit, since I carry my weight in my middle (which these pants hide masterfully, by the way). These are heavy-ish-duty pants! I thought they were going to be very costume-grade, but they were the sturdiest piece of costume gear I bought. They have suspender buttons -- in the front, on each side you borrow one of the fly buttons and an additional button on each side for a total of 4, and on the back there are 2 in the middle. Standard suspenders work. And they were sized accurately. They're comfortable, and color didn't fade (at least noticeably) after the first wash. Read more
