This is great for shoulder pain. An easy and comfortable way to ice the should without having to sit down holding an ice pack. It's easy to put on and take off. It's comfortable and not too heavy. I like that it doesn't freeze solid in the freezer so that I can wear it as soon as I take it out - without having to wait for it to thaw out. It takes a small bit of space in the freezer like an ice pack. Read more
This has been a lifesaver. I am suffering from frozen shoulder for the second time and I'm so glad I found this. I love that it feels weighted and it fits snugly against my shoulder. It is a quality product and I would recommend it a thousand times over for anyone with a shoulder issue. Read more
This is a quality product with good materials and can easily fit many (albeit primarily larger) body types. But a few things: 1 - it just does not get very cold or stay cold for long. If you’re aiming for 20 minutes of solid cooling, you might get 10, and it’s just not a focused, strong ice pack. You’re better off buying a compression wrap and some gel ice packs 2 - it is actually a fantastic brace. It’s a bit heavy, but if you’re looking for something to limit your range of motion and add some gentle cooling compression, it’s actually great. Although, it is pretty heavy, so consider that as well 3 - I’m a 6’1” 190lb man and this thing barely fits on the tightest possible setting. If you’re smaller than that, then you might want to look into other options Read more
I bought this in anticipation of major reconstructive surgery to my shoulder. My surgeon recommended I lease an ice machine that pumped water through a sleeve secured to my shoulder. Cost me $475 to lease it for 21 days - and I found after the third day that this ice pack worked much better at reducing swelling at a much cheaper cost. It’s extremely flexible and fits nicely to produce equalized cooling across the whole area. Don’t waste your money on the ice machine!! Read more
It is true very soft and though unable to put on arm, I open it up and lay on 20 minutes, off 20 while back in freezer then back on. Hi we’re in so much pain at times I just leave on. There is a shirt between me and it! Read more
I was excited to try the TheraICE PRO Shoulder Ice Pack Wrap for some shoulder pain and inflammation. It definitely delivers on cold therapy and compression—the material feels high-quality, and it stays cold for a good amount of time. However, I found it a bit too heavy for my shoulder, especially when trying to wear it for longer periods. It started to feel bulky and added pressure rather than relief. The fit is snug, and the design is smart, but if you have a more sensitive or smaller frame, it might feel uncomfortable. It’s still a solid product for short-term use or post-workout recovery, but I’d recommend trying it on first if possible to see how it feels on your shoulder. Glad I am able to return it. Read more
This shoulder ice pack is amazing. I just got it in the mail, put it into the freezer and tried it on for the first time. It's made of a 1/2 inch thick solid but squishy gel material and covered with a soft stretchy material. I just had rotator cuff repair and will be returning to work 11 days post op. Icing is essential especially early on in recovery. I do have a cold therapy machine, but was looking for something a little more portable while I'm at work or out and about. It's pretty comfortable. There are no straps that go under the arm on the side that has ghe ice pack on it, but its super soft ans stretchy so thats a bonus. It stays cold for 20+ mins. I think this checks all my boxes. The only 3 "cons" are: It is a bit on the heavy side. I did need a little help putting it on since I only have 1 hand I can use... I do think it will get easier with practice. Lastly, you probably should wear a shirt underneath it because it gets VERY cold. Read more
