taking three pills a day felt like a lot at first, it’s absolutely worth it for how complete the formula is. TheraNatal is designed based on current research and what OBs actually recommend, which gives me a lot of confidence in what I’m putting into my body. One thing I really appreciate is that it includes active folate (Quatrefolic) instead of synthetic folic acid, which is better absorbed especially for women with MTHFR gene variants. It also has the full recommended daily dose of DHA and EPA omega-3s, which are super important for baby’s brain and eye development. I’ll be honest, you might get a little bit of that fishy burp, but it’s not too bad and kind of expected with fish oil supplements. I think this is a great prenatal vitamin pack. After taking them for 3 months, I got a full blood work and all the components of these vitamins had good results. I try to take them after eating a meal, and so far they have not caused or increased any nausea symptoms. I saw some comments mentioning that one of the pills might change their color or start showing some black dots, but I did not encounter that issue, and after reassuring comments and the further details given by the brand, I think I would not have mind either. I am up to my last batch and as you can see in the picture, there's nothing odd about them. I have asked my OBGYN and the nurses I have seen during my pregnancy about these vitamins (I literally cut the component table on the box and brought it with me to my check-ups) and they all have given the all-clear. I wanted to write this review to put mama's (pregnant or trying to conceive) mind's at ease! I thought the same thing, that my pills we're molding. They had white and dark speckled spots on them. I am pregnant, and have been taking these pills for over 6 months, so yes I had a freak out at the time! But I contacted the company and actually spoke to my doctor and they both reassured me that the pills are fine and they are NOT molding. This was the direct response from Theralogix: "Theralogix does not use excessive coatings or artificial dyes, and recently we removed titanium dioxide from our coatings due to customer feedback, so now the nutrients, especially choline and iron, show through the coating of the tablets. These nutrients can first look like white speckles and then slowly darken and look like tar. Sometimes people mistaken the spots to be mold. This spotting is completely normal. The product has not gone bad and the tablets are safe to consume." Titanium dioxide was preserving the coating of the pills better, since they removed it (so glad they did!) the nutrients are just showing through the coating. It comes in nice packaging and overall satisfied with what it offers at this price point. It is a premium one and I would highly recommend it. My 2 cents below: Pros: - Nice ingredients in it & complete nutrition for the maternity needs - High concentration of nutrients in each serving - Seems to be gentle on stomach overall - These are well packed with day of the week labels and the leaflet for being per weeks Cons: - It is not the most reasonably priced pre-natal supplements - You need to take 3 capsules daily as a set and they may be not the most appealing for many expecting mothers. - It does has some bad burps as side-effect for my wife Read more

I used this throughout my pregnancy and will continue to use post partum. I definitely recommend taking these AFTER a meal as the only time I threw up while pregnant was taking this on an empty or light stomach during times when I struggled to have an appetite. Read more

Don’t buy these! I’m only 7 weeks and taking these has made me very nauseous. At first I thought it was mild and I needed to get my money’s worth since they are so expensive, but then they made me throw up twice. I haven’t thrown up from any food or had issues keeping food down it’s only these prenatals. Whether I take them in the morning, night, or with/without a meal I can’t stomach them. It’s also a huge hassle to take 3 per day. I regret spending so much money on these and I still have about 5 packs left but I will probably just end up discarding them. Read more

I had purchased this product back in 2021 with my first pregnancy, because I read an article about the independent lab testing how safe their Omega-3 source and formula was and I also saw great reviews. It was very good. It seems now the packaging and formula changed since then. I ordered this again for my Second pregnancy. The bubble packets are soo difficult to get the pills out of, especially the Omega 3, it sticks and can rupture. The color of the tablets is different now than before as well. The most negative change is the Omega-3 now causes fishy burps, which the previous purchase years ago did not do this. Being as that was one of the reasons I chose this brand in the first place, because past experience and positive reviews the original formulation didn't cause fishy burps, I am disappointed that it has changed to such that it does cause fishy burps. It's surprisingly hard to find a prenatal that has absolutely everything you need/your OB recommends you try to get. I don't remember how I found this (some sort of listicle I'm sure) but I'm glad I did. Really really like the day by day packaging. With pregnancy brain, I find it really hard to remember to take vitamins and for some reason, this method is really doing it for me. Read more
