There are no leaks as long as the straw is inserted correctly, so just be sure to do that carefully after washing. It does have a few more pieces than I expected, but they’re simple to clean and reassemble. The best part is that these extra pieces make the cup leak-proof! We love this thermos bottle, I do think it's great quality, really durable for something our baby throws around. Easy for her to open and close herself and is small enough to fit in her diaper bag or my purse when on the go, but holds enough water to last a little while. This is the second one we have bought because the first got so much use it was just time for a new one just on personal preferences. However, I'm giving three stars this round only because the rubber seal in the lid of the new one is not cut correctly, so it doesn't get a proper seal, and leaks out of the threading of the lid when tipped over on its side. It's really hard to get a photo of. Outside of that, I highly recommend this cup. Read more
