I've been looking for a water bottle that fits in my car's cup holder, wide opening to add ice cubes, keeps ice cold all day, doesn't leak, easy to clean, easy to carry when arms are full, and holds a decent amount of fluid. This bottle checks every requirement. At first, I thought the metal carrying loop was odd, but it's easy to manage and swings out of the way when not needed. Also--a plus-- when refilling the bottle, the cap/straw can balance on the carrying loop and neither the straw nor the sip mechanism touch the surface of wherever you place the top. I've left the bottle in a warm car all day long and returned to ice and cold water. The only time I've had a leak is when I filled the water to the top and it displaced beyond the bottle's capacity. I didn’t know igloo made water bottles until I broke a bottle on vacation and dashed into a big box store to grab a new one. I found my igloo water bottle and it’s my go-to. My littlest kiddo wanted a new bottle for school and asked for one like mine so we grabbed this on Amazon. They’re easy to clean, look great, have a rubber pad on the bottom, a great metal loop that doesn’t fall off like some brand’s plastic handles. The spout seals perfectly when closed but is wide when open and has great flow for liquid. The best part is that if all of my notable brand named bottles- brands that start with Y and H and such, don’t hold ice as long as our igloo bottles. I’ll add a few ice cubes in the morning and after the entire day, including outdoor recess and PE in Gulf Coast Texas heat, there’s still ice in it at 10 pm. If I had a bit more ice there’s sometimes ice still hanging out 24 hours later. Read more
