These work just as well as the more expensive name brand thick grips that shall not be named. I’m glad I tried them out, perfect diameter to trial out and see if I’d even like this style of grip. It is said to help with forearm growth and strength and after using them I can see why. Some people say it makes it harder to control a barbell but I found they actually improved my technique and helped to feel more secure with deadlifts and overhead presses. You can. Quickly adjust their position and the added grippy texture makes it feel like you can do more because you’re not pressing the bare thin metal bar against sweaty palms. Much less expensive than the name brand. I’ll probably buy another set for dumbbells. Read more

Very easy and quick to put on and off even with a pump and these will give you that pump and trigger in new muscles not used that often. Read more
Durable. Good grip as they wrap around the bar. My grip strength has definitely improved. Read more
These are listed as unisex, but really seem a little too thick for a woman’s hands (mine). Although another reviewer felt they worked great for a pull-up bar, I found them to be slippery on my smooth bar, so they rotated for me. This was my primary reason for trying these, to get a better grip while also cushioning my hands. They are shown in the product images on a bar like this but I suspect they would work better to grip if the bar is textured. Read more
Ease of use: These thick grips are really easy to remove or put on equipment. They're a little softer than our other pair, which is nice for putting on or taking off. Shape: They're straight, or uncontoured. This is fine but does feel a bit less secure compared to a more contoured set, and doesn't set into the palm quite as comfortably for any pressing movements. Size: Thickness is spot on for what these should be. The 4" lenth is good for average or smaller hands. Go for the bigger size if you have larger than average hands. Texture: The material is very tacky, with good "knurling" to improve grip beyond the material alone. Overall these are easy to hold onto while being effective at muscle activation and grip training. Equipment fit: These fit on all of my dumbbells and barbells, including a bar that is slightly thicker than what these are intended for. So far I have not had issues with them rotating or slipping on equipment. There is a gap in the slit when mounted on any equipment, so you will need to mount and rotate accordingly for comfort. To my knowledge this is the case with all thick grips. Durability: This could end up going either way. With how soft they are, they may end up splitting if the material is not very durable. Or they could hold up to repeated donning and doffing from the bar or dumbbells because they are more flexible than others I have used. I will update this review if they end up being anything less than durable. Value: These are an excellent value for anyone looking for a general thick grip that gets the job done without breaking the bank. I have no issues with any aspect of this product that makes me think you will get more from a different product unless you want a very specific feature others may have e.g. contoured shape. If you're ordering these for extra padding, don't waste your money. They're extremely hard and pretty thick too, and while they might offer a slightly better grip, they're not going to save your hands from pressure discomfort...and they tend to rotate pretty easily too, so you're better off just sticking to gloves.
