ThinOptics Frontpage Blue-Light Blocking Computer Reading Glasses and Milano Aluminum Case

I've been using the plastic glasses from the drug store, so this is an upgrade for me. The actual performance of the reading glasses is similar, but the ThinOptics are much nicer looking. The case is great, very thin and small so I can carry it around in my pocket, no more broken glasses. Definitely spend the extra money for the glasses + case. Points to consider: the glasses are very flat (to fit in the case), not curved, so sometimes you can see reflection of light from behind you in the corner of the glasses; also because they are very thin to fit in the case, they have no nose pads, but are very very light, so no nose fatigue; and they look quite fragile, these are not sturdy plastic glasses like you find 3 in a pack--if you sit on these its gonna be over. But these are the only great looking reading glasses I've seen with an attractive hard flat small case--literally the only ones, so very happy with them. I bought tortoise shell Brooklyns (which are medium width--I have a small head, so fit me well, but these are not *wide* glasses for people with big heads), but I might try blue or red frames next time, they have a variety of colors. First, this order was shipped in a bubble package. The flimsy box holding the glasses was smashed. Luckily, everything inside seems fine. This idea is brilliant. The glasses are super thin and feel fragile, but I guess time will tell as far as how they hold up. I literally just opened these, so haven’t really had the opportunity to test the blue blocker aspect bc I wanted to get on here and share some considerations that might totally be my fault for overlooking. I wanted this version with the Milano case bc it’s advertised as “magnetic “ I thought this case was going to magnetically adhere to the back of my IPhone 15 pro which has magnetic capabilities. That is not the case, at least not with my magnetic case on, and I’m not taking it off to test that theory. I think the magnetic case they are referring to is the magnetic closure of the case. The case comes with a sticky adhesive strip and that is how it attaches IF (and this is my second hiccup) it fits. This case does NOT fit on the back of my iPhone 15 plus without covering the camera lens. I was looking forward to having these stick to my phone for a cruise we are going on, but at least the case is super slim so it will be easier to carry around. Read more

The weight is very light when wearing as if hardly noticeable. The lens clarity and the slim storage case is so convenient that it makes it easy to carry and use readers especially when new to needing to rely on them. After prolonged use, the lenses have remained scratch free. Good point is that is very thin and light, glasses are ok too, but the case I got had a missing pin, and the one in place fall off also several times, closing the case needs also to put the glasses correctly in place, but its OK, if they wouldn't be that issue with the pin Read more

They are marvelous for reading any screen, and so compact, they fit in any pocket, purse, or travel bag. Durable, featherweight, with enough style to get noticed. I get amazed remarks from people all the time. 100 percent would recommend! Read more

I like the look and fucntionality of the glasses, the case always turns heads. Unfortunately the glasses did not hold up, one of the arms broke off at the hinge. For the price for a set of reading glasses I expect better quality. Read more
