Excellent product. I would highly recommend this splint. The cost, is well worth the $$$. Read more
I’ve had multiple hand surgeries and have carpal tunnel. While waiting to gather the nerve for yet another hand surgery, I depend on a brace to keep my thumb in place. This looked like a good brace. However, I think it’s made for larger hands. The wrist part sits awkwardly at my wrist bone (see last photo) and presses on the bone, making this fairly uncomfortable. The brace itself is a great quality, nicely made, the Velcro is strong, and provides good support. Another thing that this brace has going for it is that you can use it on either hand. The brace is soft against my skin, just not a good/comfortable fit for my small hand. For reference , I wear a size small latex-type glove with a little wiggle room. Read more

It wasn't a good fit for me, in the sense that it just didn't fit or help my thumb. It gaped in odd places and was impossible to tighten where I needed it to, with one hand. It did seem to be well made, so it'd probably be great for those with someone top help them put it on properly. Read more
I bought the HGBOO Thumb Spica Splint after dealing with some recurring discomfort in my thumb and wrist from long hours at the computer, and it has turned out to be one of the most comfortable braces I’ve tried. Fit & Adjustability: The adjustable straps make it easy to get the exact level of support I need. I appreciate that it’s designed to work on either hand—very convenient if symptoms shift or if two people in the household need it. Once it’s on, it stays in place without constantly loosening or riding up. Comfort & Breathability: What impressed me most is how lightweight and breathable it is. Some braces get hot or bulky after an hour, but this one is surprisingly comfortable even during longer wear periods. The material feels soft against the skin with no scratchy edges. Support Level: The built-in spica support holds the thumb in a stable, neutral position without feeling overly rigid. It provides enough structure to keep my thumb from overextending during daily activities, yet still allows me to type, grip light items, and move around without frustration. Design & Quality: The stitching, Velcro, and materials all feel durable for the price. The black color looks clean and sleek, and it doesn’t attract lint as much as other braces I’ve owned. Everyday Use: I’ve worn it while working, doing light chores, and during errands, and it makes a noticeable difference in preventing irritation and strain. It’s easy to take on and off, so I find myself using it consistently. Overall: If you need a comfortable, adjustable thumb/wrist brace for everyday support, this is a great option. It strikes a perfect balance between stability and wearability, and it’s become my go-to brace whenever I need a little extra support. Highly recommend! Read more

This hand splint feels durable and well made. It’s thick, but not thick enough to be cumbersome and bulky. It’s very effective at keeping the thumb straight as the straps, metal splint, and wrap holds the thumb in place very well. Since it does hold the thumb in one place, it helps keep the tension off the thumb a little bit and provides some relief. Overall, great product at a great value. Read more

My son was complaining about aching in his left hand after a round of VR, so I offered this brace to him, to see if it might stabilize his wrist and alleviate the pain. Sure enough, as soon as he wrapped his hand, he felt relief from whatever soft tissue he may have strained. He found it comfortable, supportive, and said the velcro held securely. It appeared to be a good fit for his hands (for reference, he is 5'9", about 110lbs, lean for a 15yo) and he says it felt durable. I liked that it was a lighter gray tone, compared to the usual stark black shade of wrist braces. He has already narrowed down what specific movement caused him pain, so he has removed the brace for now, but it's nice to know we have it if any of us feel pain in our hands, and can use some support, since it can easily be switched for either hand. This thing truly works! I got this because my husband has been having intermittent pain in the base of his thumb- likely overuse. However, I ended up needing it before him! We've been working On a labor-intensive renovation project, and a couple of days ago, I suddenly got an incredibly sharp pain in my thumb joint, and could no longer grip anything at all without dropping it. When I got home, I immediately put on this brace, hoping for some relief, but not expecting the pain to be alleviated so quickly. The brace put my thumb in a neutral position that still allowed my to move the rest of my hand freely - it felt so much better once it was supported. I didn't sleep in it, though it's comfortable enough to do so- but put it on the next morning. By that afternoon, I was able to take it off and had very little residual discomfort. I was truly surprised at how effective the immobilization provided by this would be. Read more
