I really love this Tide Clean & Gentle powder. It actually gets my clothes clean without messing with my skin issues, which is hard to find. It smells nice, doesn’t leave any residue, and I feel like it’s safe for sensitive skin. Definitely worth it! Read more

I prefer powder detergents a million times over, and unscented for the most part. So many free & clear laundry detergents are so weak, Tide is the best. If you are super scent sensitive, this does have a very very slight perfume-y scent. Laundry enthusiasts are assuming it is made on the same line as original Tide in a country to our south and picks up just a little bit. Read more
I feel like I've tried a zillion laundry detergents looking for one that is a) a powder, b) gentle on sensitive skin, c) actually cleans my clothes really well. Tide Clean and Gentle Powder is coming close to being perfect. It definitely does a better job on my kid's softball uniform and oily kitchen towels than any of the eco-brands I've tried (maybe it's the lipase?). I really like that it's a powder, and I'm not paying for a plastic bottle or a jug of mostly-water. There are a couple of drawbacks for me: I think it's a pretty strong detergent that might be fading the colors/finish of my fabrics. I use a small amount and double-rinse, but I still think my colors aren't coming out quite as bright. My whites look great. There is a fragrance. It's light and pleasant, but I don't think it's quite as gentle on my sensitive skin (with eczema) as other brands' free and clear products. I feel like I've had a little minor irritation on my face since I started using it. Look - I wish it was even more eco-conscious, and I wish it was completely fragrance free. But until I find a really eco-friendly, free and clear product that cleans as well as this one does, I'll be using Tide. Read more
Works great. Cleans well and doesn't leave any scent. Read more
I bought this powder for cloth diapers. I read tide was the best to use but didn’t want to use something super scented. These get all stains out from my diapers AND they come out smelling fine. I would say if they’re able to clean a dirty diaper, they can clean anything! Read more
I opened the box and was hit with a strong artificial fragrance smell. This product is supposed to be unscented, so I’m not sure if I got a defective box with a different product inside. What I have is definitely scented, and it makes me sneeze. Not hypoallergenic. Read more
Has been working great for cleaning Esembly cotton cloth diapers, doesn’t leave behind residue and does a good job and getting stains out. No fragrance left behind and does not irritate baby skin. Read more
