These don't actually hold any liquid, so they are completely defeated in purpose. Sure, they're soft, seemingly durable through the wash/dry cycle, and the colors are fun. The sizing is accurate and fits how I would expect. They're comfortable enough and the kiddo likes them. But the 2 nights they've been worn to bed, one accident in the bed has gone straight through any "absorbent" materials and gotten everything in the bed soaked.
