Even though they say Boys, girls can wear these too. Keep in mind the leak proof design of these includes some padding, rather than just a plastic layer. I can actually see these being great for kids in sports as well, where they need a cup or ride bikes, or need as little bit of extra cushion in sensitive areas. My kid prefers more boy style of clothes and the little girl underwear wasnt cutting it anymore.
