So my husband does not have a good head for hats. He's a handsome guy, but for some reason hats just don't flatter him at all. We live in Florida and he has had some problems with skin cancer. His dermatologist insisted he always wear a hat outside and rightly so. Thus began our search for a cool hat or two that he would love. Thanks to Amazon's Try Before You Buy (love it!) we ordered 6 hats to try. It was a journey to find something that looks good with his head, fit comfortably, and was well made, but this hat hit every mark! This Tilley Outback Hat was the clear winner, not only was it flattering but really well made. The waxed cotton is sturdy but breathable. We chose the olive color, which is great for the outdoors. When my husband was trying them on, I also tried them, and our adult son as well. This hat was the only one that looked amazing on every single one of us. Seriously, this is a great hat. Even if you always look like an Adonis (or Aphrodite) in hats, I'd would still highly recommend giving this one a try. There are now 5 Tilley hats in my life and this is the newest one. Being retired I now play golf pretty much all year and I will be wearing this one in the late fall, early spring, and the days in the winter when I can get out. True fit that is comfortable to wear for long periods of time. There is no finer hat than a Tilley!!! For the record, I am bald and Tilley Hat are UV rated that helps keep the top of my head from getting sunburned. Read more
