Well... I bought a Tilley hat over ten years ago and I absolutely love it. The quality is superb and was made in Canada. I though I would treat myself with another Tilley. I can honestly say, I've never seen a hat delivered in an envelope. The brim is all wrinkled like it was sat on. The quality is not the same as the old school Tilley. But hey, if you don't have an older one, you would never know the difference. Worst if all, it's advertised as Canadian made, however, this has a fancy made in China label on it. I am disappointed as I feel I have a Chinese knockoff and not an original Tilley. Read more

Can’t beat the price. A large was a little big…but fits loosely and the strap makes the hat from blowing away. Big brim and good airflow. Read more
I love this Tilley hat. The chin strap helps keep it on my head while walking on windy days. It provides the shade to my eyes I was looking for, and it is cooler than others hats I have had. I plan to use it for walking, hiking and shopping in town. I may get another just for gardening. I got the buff or pinkish color. Read more
This is my wife’s third Tilley hat. She left one in Italy and the other in Poland. My Tilley is over 20 years old and has been on the five continents (so far). It still looks like new. They are crushable, water, repellent, and they float! I recommend them to all my friends. They are the most comfortable “adventure” hats we have ever had. Read more

It's a Tilley hat. So it's well made but the brim is not flexible when riding into a setting or rising sun. Also, kind of a dopey double string to fasten it. Be much simpler to have one string to go under one's chin. Read more
