Great camping cot - very easy, lightweight, very comfortable.

Flora 1880October 2, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Updated after first car camping trip use ----- This really is the perfect cot for me – I've been looking for several years. It opens and closes like a dream & is completely comfortable for me (5'6", 130 lbs, so some might want the larger size). Zipper was easy with a little tug to start. Exact fit in my 2 person tent, sets up & folds shut very easily in a few seconds, OK fit back into sturdy fabric carry case. 6 1/2 lbs! So comfortable -just the right taut fabric give, no crossbars, sturdy frame, up off of the hard cold ground -I was warm in 40* nights without a pad. I am so happy with its ease of set-up, comfort, light weight & small pack! It lives up to the advertising description above. Read more

Perfect for extra bed in my vintage camper

adelemontanaFebruary 14, 2026✓ Verified purchase

The media could not be loaded. This is a perfect size for my trailer. I needed an extra bed in addition to the one built-in bed still remaining in my vintage 1962 trailer. The old dinette benches that would have provided another bed are long gone, and my space is pretty small. I previously purchased a longer, wider cot that filled up my space with not an inch to spare, and it was a pain to get in, out, and over it, let alone set that thing up — I needed a prybar and serious muscles! This cot worked great, and was easy to set up after I watched another reviewer's video. The printed illustrations were not specific enough to help. Now that I understand how it works, it takes less than a couple minutes to set up or tear down. I'm 5'3" and the length is more than fine for me. I'm nowhere near the maximum weight it's rated for, so I can't speak to that. The canvas is very sturdy, with some give, and I think with a sleeping bag or some quilts it will be very comfortable. I love how lightweight it is, and how compactly it stores in its own little bag because my space is at a premium, to say the least! (The other aforementioned cot that I had did come with a carry bag and a drawstring but was not fully enclosed in the bag for storage, was a lot heavier, and took up more than double the storage space of this one.) A slight word of warning... I managed to pinch my fingers when trying collapse this cot before I knew how it was supposed to work. It wasn't serious, but it could have been, so my recommendation is to watch a video or two, and use care when unfolding or folding the legs until it becomes second nature. Read more

Meets efficiency, packing space and the weight. It does it all!

j.a.y.wiseFebruary 17, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Now this is an efficient camping cot if I've ever seen one! I have an upcoming three-day walk in France in which individual sleeping space in the campsite is smaller than I'm used to. This cot achieves the three things I desire in camping: 1. it is lightweght that I can carry it without burden on my back, 2. it sets up fast (takes about 25-30 secs) especially when I'm eager to literally drop my tired body after a long day of walking, 3. the cot fabric is durable, sturdy and noiseless. So it meets efficiency, convenience and durability. It eliminates other things I used in the past such as a ground cover tarp, a blow-up mattress which take up space in the gear bag, takes longer to set-up and put away when setting out for the day. On this three-day walk, getting up early in the morning to begin the walk really requires a military-like mobility. Get up, get dressed, put away the sleep gear in less time. This cot solves my worry in time and take less effort to pack up especially when I'm groggy in the morning and incoherent. I recommended this cot to my fellow walkers also going on this trip. Amazing for car camping, wouldn't take it backpacking

CorfarApril 3, 2024✓ Verified purchase

Pros: Comfortable without sleeping pad 45F+ Light and compact Easy to setup Fits in even the smallest tents High enough to store stuff underneath Carrying bag has extra room if you want to throw in some hand warmers. Cons: Carrying bag isn't durable(carry patches) so dont overstuff with misc gear eveb though it fits Need a pad below 45F or you will be cold I took this car camping, it's a little too big to take backpacking but it is a huge comfort to have. It's incredibly easy to set up, I timed myself for set up at 35 seconds, put away is like 45(extra time to cram it into its container). It perfectly fits inside of my REI single person, Passage 2 tent, which is about as small of a tent as you can get. (Only fits if I unfold it INSIDE of the tent) The carrying bag itself has extra room inside between the poles and all of that for extra gear, I crammed in a mini broom/dustpan, stakes and poles for my tent, 4 handwarmers, and a large tarp...That's kinda a lot. I WILL SAY do NOT cram the carrying bag as I did, I developed a tear that I noticed when I got back and I only used it once, so either something I put inside ripped it a little (like my tent poles) or I dropped it on a sharp root. Either way, the only con so far is that the carrying bag isnt durable. The first night I didn't use a sleeping pad, just a sleeping bag rated to 30F when it was 38F outside, granted I think this sleeping bag is really comfortable range of 45+ w/pad and my tent isnt really for cold weather either so thats a contributing factor but I woke up chilly even with 2 hand warmers in my bag. Overall it wasnt a bad night sleep and I slept fine otherwise, and thats pretty good for winter temps with a warm temp bag and tent. The next night I opted for a sleeping pad and it was very nice. I'm very satisfied with my purchase, our spot at the camp grounds was full of roots, everyone set up their tents and they were complaining of roots in the middle of their tent since they didnt properly check , with a cot it didnt matter to me in the slightest. It could not be easier!

JoJanuary 5, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Awesome cot! It really does just fold out, zip up and ready to use. Reverse to put away. Easy on these old hands and only weighs 6.6 lbs! I still like to camp in my old age and this gets me off the ground in my tent. Fits in my SUV also for car camping, but measure for your specific car if that's your goal. Read more
