Timberland Womens Allington Heights Mid Zip Up Boots

This purchase was a great deal for some reason so I wasn't sure what to expect. One star reviews from other Timberland boot purchases (from this seller), the complaint was that they arrived worn or fake. The order came securly & neatly packed in Timberland box & paper with care & also including inside shoe supports for the toe & ankle. Usually, with fire sale deals, I expect the product to be last seasons leftover back stock thats incorrectly boxed & no care about protection of the product from getting damaged by the other shoe from bumpy shipping. These boots are heavy, which should be expected with this brand, so with that note, I don't question the authenticity. The suede feels thick, the sole feels solid & the seams are neatly done. I suggest buying a seade/ leather waterproofing kit,be careful not to buy the any silicon based product, I read that silicon waterproofing can take away the original appearance of the suede. As far as the sizing, I'm a 7.5 and wear an 8 occasionally depending in the style of shoe. With boots, I usually wear an 8W so I can wear with thicker socks comfortably. I read that these boots tend to fit large, the reg size 8 I purchased fits perfectly to wear my thicker dress socks. The toe section has a lot of room & I'm very happy that I took a leap of faith by not getting an 8Wide. I haven't done any actual walking since I've yet to waterproof, but my standing around in the mirror felt comfortable & the ankle was the perfect dimension. Read more

I actually returned them the minute after I tried them on. I wear a regular 9 but the wide width is (usually) extra comfortable and with a name like Timberland, I was excited to get this boot! To have it be a wide width and squeeze my foot so uncomfortably, I was truly disappointed. I still have it 2 stars cause the quality of the boot and material was good but the sizing was awful. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because they are heavy. The quality is great the color is exactly like the picture. They are also very comfortable. I have other timberland boots that are not as heavy as these so my expectations were high. To sum it up, great boots, great quality , fit well looks good all of the above as long as you don’t mind the weight. Read more

Narrow for a wide shoe. I don't think there is even a difference in widths. Size up and get a wide size if you have wide feet. Other than that it's the quality product that Timbs are known for. Read more
