I got these boots to replace the same pair I bought a couple of years ago. The original pair was very comfortable, used them on dozens of hikes. Furthermore, the same boots are sold for half the price at the manufacturers website. There, returns are allowed within 1byear.hete, returns were rejected. I took these new boots on a long hike yesterday. They became extremely uncomfortable after a short while. When I got home I had pressure injury near both ankles. I compared the two boots and found out the reason why the boots were so uncomfortable. They have a built in wrinkle at the top of the tongue. This defect did not exist on the previous version. See image included. I wouldn't buy these boots. I would still buy the old version but that has been replaced with this one. Read more
