Lightweight, Powerful and Easy to use!

The media could not be loaded. I was excited to try the Tineco Pure One S50 Pro as soon as it arrived, and it didn’t disappoint! Assembly was a breeze, and after a quick 30-minute charge, I was ready to tackle my 2,400-square-foot home. The vacuum’s ultra-power mode had enough battery life to clean my entire house in one go, which was impressive. One standout feature is the green light that illuminates dust and debris on the floor—it’s eye-opening to see how much dirt was hiding! I started with just the dining room but got so caught up in the satisfying results that I ended up cleaning the whole house. The ability to switch between Eco, Auto, and Ultra modes is fantastic. Ultra mode is powerful yet surprisingly quiet and smooth, requiring minimal effort to maneuver. Overall, I’m thrilled with this vacuum’s performance, especially its lightweight design and versatility. Highly recommend! Read more

Don't be deceived!!!!!!!

Well, genuinely not sure where to start with this one. Got it this morning at 0850 sharp, and was immediately concerned about build quality. If you couldn't figure it out by the poor English (clean the gaps/keyboard? Who talks like this?) and the obviously photoshopped photos in the marketing, Tineco is a Chinese brand. You can easily tell where it came from based on the type of cardboard the vacuum is packaged in. Keep in mind this is a $470 vacuum when it's not marked down for "sale." The feel of the plastic this vacuum is made of doesn't reflect that. It feels cheap, and I can't particularly tell the difference in quality between this Tineco vacuum and the Bissell I replaced. There's a $370 difference between these vacuums, by the way. The S50 arrived at 41% battery, and took about 3 hours to charge from 41% to 100%. I'm not a stickler for charging speed, but in a world where I can charge my 4400mAh cell phone battery from 0 to 100% in 45 minutes, this is a bit disappointing. Once the battery hit 100%, I took it off the dock and tested it out using the "auto" setting. First thing I noticed was that it was that the power brush head is LOUDER than the actual vacuum on auto, but that quickly disappears once the vacuum registers that the floor is dirty and ups the suction. The second thing I noticed was that ECO mode is absolutely garbage. It barely sucks (pardon the pun), and requires multiple passes to pick up every bit of dust/dirt/whatever. Its not even worth using on the floor. Auto is okay, but some spots I vacuumed took a second pass to pick everything up. I doubt this vacuum truly reaches 200AW, and if it does, it's probably on MAX and likely for a shorter duration than auto. The battery life. They claim a 95 minute run time in the title, but if you go down and look, that 95 minutes is actually the vacuum being ran on ECO mode using the crevice tool. If you run it with the "ZeroTangle" (we'll get to that in a second) brush head, that knocks it down to 65 minutes. On Auto using the ZeroTangle tool, it lasted maybe 25-30 minutes on auto. I don't have a particularly large house, but I only managed to vacuum about 600sqft before the battery was empty from 100%. The green light is cool and illuminates a bunch of dust and dirt on the floor, but only really stretches about 5 to 6 inches in front of the brush head. It's virtually worthless on carpet or rugs, and only really works on hard flooring like tiles, vinyl, hardwood and stained concrete. It also completely washes out if you have the blinds open, or if you have the lights on. So unless you like vacuuming in the dark, or only have hard flooring, this green light could be done without. It's purely a gimmick. Now for the ZeroTangle brush head. I honestly expected it to handle the wife's hair without issue, but again Tineco's incredibly misleading and deceitful marketing strikes again. If you thought you'd be able to vacuum long hair or long fabric fibers up and not worry about tangles, think again. I genuinely don't know the thought process (other than being intentionally misleading) behind naming this brush head "ZeroTangle," then proceeding to write language where it CLEARLY says "tackles hair messes without tangling...tangle free," then finally following up with a disclaimer that states "based on Tineco's lab data, may vary by user habits and environment." Really? What habits and in what environment makes hair less or more likely to tangle? How exactly did Tineco test this "ZeroTangle" brush head? It sure wasn't with long human hair. This brush head tangles, mostly around the ends and somewhat around the brush head, and you have to clean the hair out like any other vacuum. Big fat F on that mark, Tineco. They also market this as "hands-free emptying," which is another complete falsehood. It does dump a majority of the dust out in one go, but hair and other debris wraps around the cone and gets tucked up behind the rubber gasket inside. I had to reach in there and pull hair out with my fingers. It's not hands-free in the slightest, and actually requires disassembly to completely empty. The dustbin is also stupidly small too, and in that 600sqft space, I almost filled it up to the "MAX" line. My house is lived in, but we don't let it get super dirty. The charging dock. It doesn't occupy a ton of space, but does make the vacuum sort of lean out from the wall. You also must have the brush head attached to charge the vacuum. The battery itself is removable, which is cool if you can find a replacement. In the end, the only things about this vacuum that are actually pros and necessary are the 180 degree hinge that makes vacuuming under things easier, the removable battery, and the genius crevice/duster attachment that is actually 2 in 1 and slides forward and backwards with a toggle switch. This thing sure ain't worth the cost at $470 MSRP, and is hardly justifiable at the $347 they're asking for on "sale." If you'd handed this to me, I'd have thought it was $115. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it'll fit perfectly well for what I intend it to be---a quick little tool to maintain the house, and I kinda like it. If this were my main vacuum, I'd have sent it back immediately. If you're in the market for a mainline vacuum you'll use to clean your house, look elsewhere. This thing won't last long enough to vacuum your living room and kitchen, let alone the average house. Read more

Cautiously Recommended, but with many issues.

Used 2 or 3 times and the “dust sensor” quit working. i was very diligent in cleaning the very small bin, wiping it clean, making sure filters were clean and dry before using them again. It picks up dirt I didn’t even know I had, BUT having an electronic function go out so quickly pisses me off. This was not a cheap vacuum and I did quite a bit of research before buying it. Also, the battery does not last anywhere near the advertised time. UPDATE: the dust detector was indeed at fault. It took several wipes with a toothbrush to clear it. However, one of the filters has begun to seperate from its frame, see photo.. I would like to note a couple of more discrepancies on this item. 1. The dustbin is too small. Would be nice if it was a little larger. 2. Cleaning is tedious, as well as assembling/disassembling. 3. The unit CANNOT be recharged without the head attached. Battery is removable, but cannot charge unless the main head/ motor is attached. 4. The unit takes an inordinate amount of time to fully recharge. 3-4 hours. 5. Even on Auto mode, the charge does NOT last as advertised. Good for a studio or one bedroom with minimal carpet coverage. So, even though it does a good job of picking up dust and debris, there are several things that keep me from giving it a 5 star review. 6. It’s still a little too pricey for most folks. Read more

High quality, easy to use, and sucks strong

This vacuum is truly on the top quality end of similar products. The foldable stick can go 90 degrees (check my photo) and still sucking just fine, the stand base is heavy and sturdy and the vacuum can stand on it perfectly, which I always had issue with my previous Dyson V8 and V10. The green light on the head detects animal hairs (we have a bunny) and dusts easily. The Adjustable sucking power function cleans either smooth surface or my carpet no problem at all. We have a relatively big house with 2 stairs with bed rooms in the up stairs, and this thing made it so easy to clean under the beds and shelves. Read more

Strong suction, bright LED illumination, flexible and foldable design

We have 2 border collies, 3 parrots, and 1 budgie. That generates piles of dust, dog hairs, and feathers. Toneco Pure One S50 Pro is a lifesaver for our house. The vacuum is solid yet flexible, the suction is strong, and it can easily get under furniture to vacuum and clean. The bright LED light illuminates hidden dust, dog hair in the corners of the rooms, and under furniture. The remaining charge indicates when it needs to be charged. The vacuum could be charged in the upright position in storage. Read more
