I have been wearing Extra-Tuf boots for over 25 years and since they started making them in China the quality has gone into the toilet. I just bought my first pair of Tingley's and they are solid, comfortable and dry. I have been wearing them on sportfishing boats and they have broken in nicely. It will be nice to see if they hold up like the old Extra-Tuf boots did that were US made. Read more

Great boots!. I farm rice and walnuts for a living in N. CA and I use these when working with caustic fertilizers and chemicals. I climb on and off metal decked trailers (slippery) and they have great traction in those conditions. I wear them 8+ hours a stretch and they are very comfortable. They get a little swampy after 8 hours of work in the CA heat and I need to circulate some dry air into the boots at the end of the day, but this happens with any rubber boot in this environment. The inner edge of the boot rubs my calves a little, but after 8 hours the skin can get a little raw, so for long duration wear make sure you have socks that go over the height of the boot top and stay there, (11" from sole to boot top on size 12 boots). Ordered men’s size 11 and received boots with size 11 molded onto to souls. However they must have been at least size 12 or 13. Sizing not even close. Better try them on before buying. Read more
