I have darker skin (or rather Afro-American), and I was worried it might leave a white cast on my face and make me look like a ghost haha, or that it would make my skin greasy. I have to say, this sunscreen really surprised me—simply wonderful. It has no smell, and at first, when you apply it, you do see a white layer, but once you spread it properly, the white completely disappears and leaves the face looking very even in tone, which I absolutely loved. I’m attaching a photo after training, and it’s incredible how my face didn’t get greasy or shiny at any point. It just kept that nice, even tone that I couldn’t achieve with other big brands full of chemicals. Very happy with this purchase. I have super reactive skin and most chemical sunscreens make me red or itchy, but this tallow sun balm has been great. The non-nano zinc doesn’t bother my skin at all, and the tallow actually makes my face feel calmer and the sun balm smoothes fine lines so I look younger! Nice it works right away you don't have to wait 20 mins like chemical sunscreen. No stinging, no breakouts, no strong smell. I can even put it near my eyes without problems. I’ve been trying to incorporate more natural products into my life, so I wanted to try this for my skincare routine since I wear sunscreen every day. I was pleasantly surprised that this didn’t have a white cast like other zinc sunscreens I’ve tried. Great Sun cream. I am trying to be very conscious of the ingredients put on my skin. I wish I could go without something for sunscreen, but my fair complexion makes that impossible if I’m going to be in high UV situations. This sun cream has great non toxic ingredients and it works well. I’ve so far applied it with and without makeup. Either way it looks great. It does not feel greasy at all and soaks into the skin really nicely within a few minutes. A little goes a long way! The beige tint makes it blend really nicely into my skin and I don’t notice any white cast at all. It has a neutral, barely noticeable smell (no fragrance) which I prefer. Read more
