Overall a great value for a quilt. Kept me warm down to 40F. Definitely think you could go to 30F easily. More with layers and an over quilt. The loft of the down felt comparable to a much more expensive Enlightenment Equipment brand quilt I have borrowed in the past. I would maybe take off half a star for the foot box not cinching down tight enough to block all drafts, but this is common for non-sewn foot boxes so I don’t think it’s fair to ding it too much. Great value for the price. Checks all the boxes for a great bag. Had a slight chemical smell. You also have to rely on the proprietary snap system to attach to your pad unless you rig up some other straps. Otherwise, very lightweight and packable. Read more

This is great. I've had it for 4 or 5 years, I use it as a quilt over a sleeping pad for backpacking. It's amazing to 40 degrees. I've used it in sub freezing nights and it's ok, but that's wearing socks, pants, long sleeve, my down jacket and a beenie. I was still a little cold. It packs down to nothing and is a great blanket to use around camp or in the tent before bed. I've worn it as a jacket just for fun. Cool party trick but my actual down jacket is way better. Bought labelled as "Windhard" brand but its the same bag. FABULOUS BAG for back/bike/kayak/SUP campers where space and weight are critical. I treated mine with Nikwax "Down Proof" and am amazed. At 6'1"/225 lbs., it is enough coverage for me, but I sleep like a log after SUP/backpacking all day. Ratings are personal, but I was comfortable with mid weight merino long johns with hood at 38'F. The ability to wear as a shawl is just such a game changer! In the shoulder seasons, I only need a jacket in the mornings when making breakfast/packing up for the day, and this feature allows me to leave my puffy/vest at home (or carry a lighter one for colder weather)!
