I got this box to keep my tissues on my bed's headboard shelf that sits above my head - with the horizontal pull of tissues, this is a much easier access for those times that I am sick in bed. as long as the tissue box is not quite completely newly opened and so full, I am able pull the tissue and not worry about the entire box come crashing down on my head. All of which in addition, no longer needing to sit fully upright to just pull a tissue out of the box - love the versatility this pretty box affords me, especially when I feel sick in bed and do not want to move so much just to get a tissue. the quick easy storage of the remotes for my room, since they are slightly longer than the top storage box space - also makes this easy to grasp the remotes when needing something more than a book to read.
