Great, sturdy keychain with a solid quick-release mechanism. I was worried it might release itself from impact or just rolling around in my pocket, which is why I went this route and not the magnet version. This one uses a pin-style push-down release. It won’t disengage unless the body is pushed back intentionally—which simply won’t happen inside a pocket—but it’s still easy to operate with one hand. I attached it to my small multitool along with my car key, so I can detach and use it easily whenever I need to. It makes carrying and accessing everything much more convenient. Overall, it’s a sturdy, well-designed item that’s easy to use and feels reliable. Read more

This key chain is amazing. I never thought I would care about something so small and unimportant as this. The magnets are extremely strong, and the lock seems extremely durable as well. It is very well made and looks great. Not something I thought I would be excited about. I'll probably buy a couple more. Read more

Very well made but as not easy to use as I had hoped. Best if you have thin fingers. I'll keep it, hoping that it becomes easier for me to use. Read more

I've been using this for about a week. Mine is the little spherical one. My use of this is not for hanging keys, but for hanging a 5.5" solid aluminum kubotan (aka palm stick, a self-defense tool) from a belt loop so that the kubotan hangs free by my right trouser pocket = quickly accessible, not in a pocket. I attach one split ring to the kubotan (it has a large hole in the "non-business" end), one split ring to a small carabiner which clips to my belt loop. A sharp, but easy jerk downward frees the kubotan and it's ready to go. It releases easily enough, but I can tell there's no danger of it releasing without being firmly pulled. It's quite easy to snap it back together again: about the same pressure that one would use to close a snap on an overcoat. One reviewer complained that the item was very small, and too small for his (?) use. That's not the case for me at all. I love its small size. For scale, the length from the top of one split ring to the top (bottom) of the other one is exactly 2.5". Add my carabiner to that length and my kubotan hangs at a perfect spot for me to grab it easily if needed. Read more

My wife loses her corolla key at least once a month and in her impatience, she takes my entire key set. That leaves me with no keys for the house doors, gate doors, and all the other vehicles. This pull attachment let's her take only her corolla key when she loses hers. That alone makes the price point of this two set worth it. The other aspect is I have 7 keys that are security locks or miscellaneous keys that use throughout the week, like sheds, ranch gates, pad locks. Those keys are heavy but I do need them on me all the time. When I leave home, I detach that bundle of keys and leave it on my truck. That makes my keys go from around 9 to 12 keys, down to 2. That's a huge weight lifted from my pocket. So easy to use, a push makes it easy to remove a key or a set of keys. I ended up buying another set for other bundles of keys. Read more
