I own two of these Titan Fitness pull-up bars, and they’re rock solid. Both times I upgraded the hardware with 3/8” lag screws for extra peace of mind. The quality is excellent, the design is simple and effective, and you really can’t beat the price for what you’re getting. Whether it’s strict pull-ups, kipping, BMU, or just hanging there questioning my life choices mid-workout, these bars don’t budge. Great value, great quality, great price. Titan nailed it. Read more

I have this hanging from my garage ceiling. My daughter needed something with enough space from the wall and ceiling to work on pole vault drills. The length of the brackets made this a great choice. Install wasn’t too bad. Placing on the ceiling made it a little tricky so I made template for the bolt holes so I could prescription them. Would have been nice to have a template included. It’s sturdy and has no movement when using. The pull up bar is slicker than many I’ve used. We have another bar the garage as part of a fold out squat rack and the difference is noticeable. I would recommend chalk or wax on this bar if doing any swinging or inverted movements. Read more

im using this in the garage so i wanted a good sturdy option and not a door frame hanging kind. i dont have experience with anything to compare it to but it was one of the cheaper mounting kinds and its very well made it comes with big lag screws and i trust everything about it to hold up to some serious weight i have no complaints on the grip. it does get you far enough from the wall to do anything you could need Read more

QA/QC is a major problem as many have stated. I see that nothing has changed at Titan Fitness from past reviews. 1. Welding is pretty subpar. Didn’t connect in some ends, bubbles / holes in another, and a splatter. The heat is either too high or you just aren’t connecting for proper structural support. Don’t save welding materials for catastrophic failures. 2. Their screws are very subpar (again.) I bought 3/8-4” screws with washers from Home Depot as many have recommended, and it does make a huge difference in stability. 3. You need to check on your metal-cutting/-boring team. One hole was made slanted and pointed ~2-3deg upward, so I ended up manhandling the damn bar to fit it. 3a. When you’re cutting, please ensure that you don’t put extra stress on the bars - the thing came slightly bowed which made the hanging-bar installation WAY more difficult than required. 3b. When coating the damn metal frames, PLEASE don’t over do it. I had to dremel the dang thing to scrape off the coating for the hanging-bar to fit through because you didn’t account for the extra layer/thickness. 4. I guess this is more of a transportation / Amazon issue, but the hanging-bar’s end cap came broken off in one end. Overall, it’s not a bar system. The problem again is major issues with QA/QC - unless the quality manager is the cross-eyed man played by Steve Buscemi in Big Daddy, one can’t honestly stamp this end product to pass an inspection. I can’t believe we built the great pyramids and other wonders of the world to let such small objects screw up this bad. Rulers, pencils, micrometers, and a flat surface will be your company’s best friend, Titan Fitness - please utilize them as our ancestors have. Read more

It is a simple and sturdy item. The bar is smooth - I wish there would be some grip enhancer, which was not promised, so I guess it is ok. My main concern is mounting on wooden studs, the whole thing is heavy by itself plus the weight of a body, not sure it could withstand all this weight for long. Read more

This thing is solid. Make sure you go direct into studs. No need for plywood between the wall and pull up bar.. unless your like 300lbs and putting a ton of weight on it. Read more
