Bought for my daughter's scooter at college. Easy to use. Light weight, coils up nicely to secure on scooter, great price, security cord is quality made and just the right size (length, cord, lock code). We would buy this again. Read more

Thicker wire than some other similar options available, though it would benefit from being a couple of feet longer. I do like the fact that it comes with the attachment to keep it on your bicycle. Read more

I purchased this item on August 26, 2025. Received it August 29th. Changed the code as instructed. It was working great. My son rode his bike to and from school and used this lock on it at school. Suddenly, October 7, 2025, it would not unlock for him. I went to the school and tried several "tricks" I found online to try and get it open. No luck. We had not changed the code, yet it suddenly would not unlock. Ultimately, we had to cut it off to free his bike. I messaged Titanker support before cutting the lock off. Their first response asked me to verify I had done the procedure correctly to change the initial code and that the dials were working properly. I confirmed I did the correct procedure and the dials were working properly. The lock did work with the new code I set for several weeks. Their next response was: 1.Please move the four number combination down/up one notch one by one to try several similar numbers. Maybe you were 1 digit off when you set. 2.Another possibility could be from the number dial, just make sure the number dial is COMPLETELY turned when doing the setting and turned back COMPLETELY after setting. Try to turn the number dials after setting to make sure they are turning smoothly before locking. #1 - using this method they suggest, there could be hundreds of combinations to work through to try and find the code, so I did not sit there at my son's school bike racks and try to use their suggestion. I had already tried similar suggestions I had found online with no success. #2 - This suggestion is useless since THE LOCK WON'T OPEN. I cannot reset the code again if I cannot get it open. I bought a similar lock for my older son about 2 years ago from the local Walgreens. We have had NO problems with his lock. We reset the code on my older son's lock when we first bought it, and it has worked fine for 2 years. There is no reason this Titanker lock should suddenly stop working LESS THAN TWO MONTHS after I purchased it. Titanker is willing to send me a replacement lock but I'm not sure I want to try it and go through this problem again. Read more

I love the design of this lock, the way it tucks out of the way and it's very easy to use and put back, and looks nice. But i've lost two in the last 6 months because the latch didn't keep the lock fastened and it fell off somewhere along my route. When the first one fell off, I ordered the identical lock, but went ahead and replaced the holder, even though the first one was still in place and seemed functional. But the second lock fell off within a month, and I had never even removed it from the holder to use it in that time. I'm still debating whether to try again or replace it with a different brand or design. UPDATE: Seller reached out and offered a refund - I went ahead and replaced it with the same product. I've mounted this one horizontally on the bike instead of vertical so there will be less pressure on the latch, but this new one seems tighter with less play than the first one. Still love the design. In case you don't find instructions for your new lock, you just set the combination to 0000 (the default code) and open the lock. There's a ridged circular dial inside - just turn it about a quarter turn, change the numbers to something you'll remember, then turn the dial back to it's original setting. That's all that's needed to change the combination. Close the lock and spin the dials and it should be locked. Set it to your new numbers and it should open. Read more
