Right out of the box, this TJOY under cabinet lighting kit made a great first impression. The packaging was neat and organized, and I was genuinely surprised by how many accessories were included. Everything appears well thought out, making it feel like a complete, ready-to-install setup rather than something you’d need to piece together separately. I haven’t installed the lights yet, but based on what’s included, the process looks straightforward with the adhesive mounting option. I plan to use these under shelving in my laundry room, where the motion sensor and adjustable brightness should be especially useful for quick trips in and out. The ability to switch between warm and cool lighting is also a nice touch and should help customize the space depending on the time of day. Since I haven’t tested performance yet, I can’t speak to brightness, sensor accuracy, or app functionality just yet. That said, the overall quality and presentation so far give me confidence that this will be a practical and flexible lighting solution. If installation and performance match the initial impression, this could easily be a great value for anyone looking to add convenient, motion-activated lighting to cabinets, closets, or utility spaces. I recently received this under cabinet lighting kit with motion sensor and it has been very easy to set up and use. I like that the strip can be cut to adjust the length so it fits exactly where I need it, whether that is under cabinets, shelves, or in closets. The lighting is dimmable, which allows me to adjust the brightness depending on the mood or the area I am using it in. The most impressive feature for me is the motion sensor. It turns on when we enter the space, which was one of the most important things I was looking for in this type of lighting. It makes it very convenient, especially in areas where I do not want to reach for a switch.The strips adhered well. I also like that it can be controlled either through the app for more detailed settings or with the included remote for quick adjustments. Both options worked well during testing. Installation was simple and did not require any wiring. All we needed was access to an electrical outlet, which we had already planned for during our build. For the number of pieces included, the features, and how easy it is to install and use, I feel this is a great value for a complete kit which includes everything you need to install. Read more
