I’m so glad that oversized glasses are back in style. These over glasses sunglasses work perfectly! My glasses are pretty large but these fit over them comfortably, with no problem at all. There is a lip along the top and edges that rests on my glasses, so they stay in place without moving. I was honestly surprised by how well these fit and stay in place. These oversized over-the-glasses sunglasses are exactly what I was hoping for. They fit comfortably over my regular eyeglasses without pressing on my face or feeling bulky, which is something I’ve struggled with in the past. The wraparound design provides great coverage and blocks sunlight from the sides as well. The polarized UV400 lenses make a noticeable difference, especially while driving. Glare is reduced significantly, and everything looks clearer and easier on the eyes. Despite being oversized, they’re lightweight and don’t slide down, even after wearing them for extended periods. Fit over sunglasses are perfect for those of us who wear glasses all the time, but are not satisfied with the strength of the transition type lenses on prescription glasses. These fit over sunglasses covered my glasses well, and were comfortable to wear. I like the tortoiseshell color and the brown tint. They are very attractive looking! The glasses arrived boxed, well protected, with a cleaning cloth included as well as a micro fiber carrying case with a drawstring. I love the fact that they are polarized so will cut down glare while driving and on sunny days near the water. I already have them in my handbag—they hardly take up any room with the cloth case. i have very large frames and these fit over so nicely and hide my regular glasses, they really do help to block out the sun and help for those with sensitive eyes in the car. love the tutle shell color, they are a little big or bulky but they really do help so i dont mind. Read more
The TJUTR polarized fit over glasses are the fourth pair of sunglasses I have purchased in the last three years, and these are by far my favorites. These sunglasses are both well-made and stylish. I love the tortoise shell with the gold accents on the sides. They are sturdy which is necessary since I tend to throw them around. I’m trying to be better about that. They are big enough to completely cover my eyeglasses and comfortable enough to forget I even have them on. My only complaint is that I do wish they were a little bit darker. Looking in the mirror I can see my glasses through the lenses. Otherwise, they are worth every penny. Read more
These are the best "fit over" sunglasses I've ever had and I've had several over many years. Most of them tend to be larger and bulkier. This pair is the same size and weight as a regular pair of sunglasses of similar frame style. Besides looking great and doing a pretty good job of hiding the glasses underneath, they do a very good job of shielding me from the sun, too, which is my main concern. I get migraines when I drive if I don't wear sunglasses, but I feel very comfortable in these with no facial or eye tension and fatigue. Very nicely made and they look great, too. Read more
I just received these today, and I am so pleased with these sunglasses. They fit over all of my four different pairs of glasses (I wear progressives in plastic and metal frames) and do a great job of reducing glare. I live in a very hot and dry climate with very intense sun, and it was so nice to walk outside in the sunshine and still be able to see clearly. I also like that they look fashionable being that the current trend is to have bigger frames. They cover my side pieces beautifully and the ridge across the inner top edge of the frames also helps to keep sunlight out, and hide my glasses underneath. I appreciate that they come with a pouch and cleaning cloth that works very well and will protect them when not in use. I honestly expected less, but am so happy they are such good quality. This will save me a bundle on having to get additional pairs of prescription sunglasses. Read more
This are excellent sunglasses for wearing over prescription glasses. My Rx glasses aren't small, so I needed something large enough to fit over them without looking weird. I had a pair of nicely polarized glasses that fit fine, but they were they kind that were waaay too big looking and bulky and square, which made me feel like I was 100 years old. These TJUTR glasses look fashionable and, though they are large, they cover my Rx glasses and look stylish. Best of all is the light brown lens color, which gives a bright glow to everything I see.
