These are just right for full commitment potty training, as there is NO extra lining/padding to confuse the little trainee. Frankly we questioned a few times if this type of potty training was even a good idea, but in about 3 or 4 days our toddler got the idea. I think these briefs helped with that. The variety of prints on the undies engaged him and even the colorful, well designed box they came in supported his interest. We washed them in very warm, sometimes hot water so they shrank a bit after a few washes. This (and the fact that he's growing) is why after a couple of months we bought them again in a larger size.
