I chose this set from Innysh because it included some ingrown toenail tools I hadn't seen before. I can’t think of a time I opened a manicure kit and said …..wow … I have probably a dozen sets, for the sake of comparison that I have purchased or been given over the years. It is impressive in the weight of the items and the overall construction. The case is also heavy duty but not as much of a wow. It’s the tools themselves…there are a lot of them for the price. The 3 sharp tools come in a cellophane sleeve and have a soft vinyl cover for the ends. NOTE : The cover for the ends of the sharp tools is likely to get missed inside the cellophane, since both are clear. The handles on each piece are wider than most and easier to hold than the typical pieces in a set. The basic nail clippers are heavy duty and very nice, the side cutters are as well. The side cutters / cuticle trimmers have a piece that pivots around to create a spring tension. To be clear and compare, they are not as heavy as if each piece had been purchased on its own for a price almost as high as this whole set. But to come all together and include the bars for the ingrown nails, it is great. The price of this set at the time of this review is $13.99. Typically I would say that is a high price for a manicure set, but it is a very affordable price for this collection of tools. Everything that I have tried so far works as well or better than expected. This may not be the set for everyone. It is NOT geared at someone with fake nails that goes and gets a pedicure every few weeks. This is a “I need real stuff to handle what is happening with my feet or nails” kind of set.
