This is the best one. I looked at several.
Love it!!! Made a clay pot recipe (Spanish rice) for the first go at it, and it turned out excellent!!! Rice was perfectly done and not starchy. This is definitely a good buy!! The pot is small but feeds us two with plenty of left overs. Probably about 6 one scoop servings if it’s full. Which is plenty of rice along with other food items. Read more
Great for 1-2 people
I wasn't sure I needed a special appliance just for making rice, but I can see the appeal of it. This rice cooker is fairly small, which is good because my kitchen has very little cabinet space and I keep a lot of these types of appliances under my open shelf island. Easy access but not so good for dust and stuff, but I digress... This little cooker doesn't take up much room and makes the perfect amount of rice for 1-2 people. I am just one, so good for me and leftovers. This is easy enough to operate, however the instructions lack an important thing...instructions to operate the panel. The other instructions are helpful, but telling you what the functions of the machine are is pretty important too. It is irritating to have to figure it out rather than just reading how to use it. I personally think this is way overpriced due to the fact that it just cooks rice and is also very small. The rice does come out perfect, that is a plus for sure, but then I ask myself, is it really worth it to use this over the old on-the-stove method? I concluded that it is. You are going to dirty something to cook the rice, so you might as well dirty something that is going to cook it perfectly. Read more
