They came in alive.
The snails are great! moving around and eating stuff off the rocks. After about two weeks three of the five crawdads ate two of their own, don't know why I thought there was plenty to eat in the pond. So I've been adding cucumbers and the occasional worm, I have not found any more bodies. So far all the animals are happy and growing fairly big. Read more
Very lively
Crawfish and snails were delivered overnight. All arrived alive and the crawfish were very lively. Snails took awhile too adapt, but are beginning too slowly move. Pay attention too Toledos messages to you. They ship much faster then Amazon's updates and tracking shows. Crawfish were much larger then I was expecting. I honestly was expecting tiny little ones, but these were easily 3"+. They also included 1 extra crawfish and 2 extra snails in case of DOA. Snails were a mix of sizes. The smallest one not disappointing. Will add updates with their progression, but so far everyone looks good. This is the second time I have ordered from Toledo, and will use them in the future again. dead snails update.... ALIVE
I wanted to reach back out... Toledo was quick to respond to my concerns. Even though I have had experience with snails, I jumped the gun. It took a full 3 days for snails to respond. Happily, the cold weather seemed to have stunned them...but all are ALIVE. I apologize to Toledo for the rush to judgment. Will happily do business with Toledo in the future! Read more
Absolutely GREAT!
These crayfish & snails were perfect for my 40 gallon tank. I knew that there was a possibility that they may escape but I did my research and was ready. I lost 4 crayfish and had a few adjustments to make to the lid and hang-on filter. So it was my LOSS not their fault for! There really shouldn't be any negative reviews for things they can't control. Do your research and ask questions! They were packaged in an excellent manner, recieved them all alive and well. They acclimated just fine 30 minutes minimum is best. I will be ordering from them again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND these for your tank, pond or preference. Everyone enjoys looking at them. Read more
