Let me first start by saying I'm into Fragrances and I've learned that price is often not indicative of likeability of smell. The two reasons I find this to be the case is that opinions are in the eye of the beholder (we don't all like the same smells) and an individuals body chemistry sometimes just doesn't work with a particular cologne. I have found this out the hard way loving a scent someone else was wearing but once on my skin I was repulsed by it, which invariably gives you a headache or if your like me you want to take a shower as soon as possible to get it off of you. For this reason I recommended testing any scent you are considering and walk around an hour to determine how it works for you. More specifically I won't go through all the notes as some others have done and the cologne has been reviewed on YouTube multiple times but I will tell you this scent is by far my biggest compliment getter from the ladies. To get unsolicited comments in my world is rare ( I've never gotten one for Pure Malt) but this cologne gets them all the time. Even guys ask what I'm wearing and you know men don't often ask that kind of question but its happened numerous times. The only negative I have to say about the scent is it doesn't last long periods and as part of that its projection fades rapidly throughout the day/evening. Some of that is becoming nose blind but not entirely, I know this because if I get a hug later in the evening I am invariably told how good it smells and asked what scent it is, so as far as bang for your buck and in need of a summer scent give this a try I'm afraid in the winter the scent is not as applicable and would fade even faster. The smell is very masculine and subtle! I never thought a sealed metal container would Be so brilliant an idea for dispensing cologne! The cap has a shut off cap . All you do is twist it to off ! I got this for my 10-year-old son (who is now 11) I’ve gotten this a couple times now it is perfect it’s not overpowering it’s not like a gym locker smell it’s like a fresh clean crisp air not a musky smell at all . It also has a slight sweet smell but one that a girl likes to smell on a man hard to explain but I am very picky and I couldn’t be happier that I went with this scent for him. It’s absolutely perfect for him like if he sprays too much of it it’s OK it’s not like oh my God you’re killing me type of smell I love it I literally called it HIS scent, like it was meant for him made for him lol and I will probably continue buying it for him until he’s able to like/pick out his own scent, which unfortunately probably won’t be for a while because having Covid, his sense of smell has diminished completely and hasn’t come back 😞 i’m optimistic that it will come back but unfortunately we just have to wait things out.
