I was excited to try these because I usually love stuff from this brand. I haven't really gotten any new dress shoes in 10+ years or more and upon trying these on, I remembered why. They feel like classic dress shoes and while they weren't necessarily uncomfortable, they didn't feel as comfortable as the shoes I usually wear. As far as dress shoes go though I found these to be pretty decent. The padding is good and feels like these shoes will be comfortable for long days on my feet when they are broken in. The rubberish soles were comfortable when walking and didn't make a lot of noise. I wear a size 13 and to accomplish the skinny toe look without actually crushing your toes in the footbox of the shoe they have to extend the toe so this shoe is longer than I am used to wearing. First time I tried them on I kind of reminded myself of the Iron Sheik in 80s wrestling with his classic pointed toe boots. Seriously though, these do add some length but I didn't think it looked bad and it didn't feel too unnatural either. The fake leather is pretty realistic-looking and feels nice as well. These seem like they should break in well and last a long time. I wore them on carpet, and honestly, they weren't any more slippery than any other dress shoes I have worn in the past. Thankfully I don't need to wear dress shoes often but then next time I wear a black suit I will be sporting these kicks and most likely a big smile as well.
