Nearly bullet-proof protection per my accidental drop tests while adding as little as possible bulk and weight. The sliding lens cover works well, firmly locks in place, and is far more convenient than applied lens covers. Same with the holster, which is nearly as useful and a rock-solid alternative to keeping the phone in one's pocket during many situations. Given the bulk and weight of the S25 Ultra that's particularly important given the 360-degree protection needed when then phone is vulnerably tossed into or clipped onto a backpack, carry-on, or briefcase. Customer support is particularly outstanding. TONGGATE responded nearly immediately to two different inquiries regarding technical questions. No problem charging with two different wireless chargers. The fingerprint reader occasionally requires wetting one's finger but does work. Same with any other integrated screen cover. HOWEVER... Carefully consider if you need a privacy screen. While the TONGATE privacy screen works very well, any privacy screen will unavoidably complicate its use with polarized sunglasses and adaptive screen brightness features. In summary, great case! I'd prefer the case offering a flap covering its USB-C port when not in use. However, such flaps can cause problems as well as benefits. Definitely recommended to protect your phone and privacy. I purchased the one with the privacy shield and definitely love that no one can see what you're doing /typing unless they're looking directly over your shoulder at the screen. I wanted an Outer box for my Samsung, and this is definitely the same item but costs much less and offers more privacy. The matte black is beautiful!! Clip is very sturdy, casing is built to last and not cheaply made. The fingerprint sensor does takes some time getting used to on the privacy screen. I found that warming my fingers prior to using the sensor works when there are issues with fingerprint recognition. Overall, no complaints 👌. Read more
THE GOOD. This is the best case I've found for s25 ultra, hands down ! It doesn't feel big and bulky and has awesome protection. The protective film on the from is as smooth as glass. I had to go back and read description to verify it wasn't after installation. If you need a case, this is the one. THE NOT SO GOOD. the only complaint I have about this case isn't the case itself, It comes down to the belt clip. It holds the phone nice and sturdy, but it's very bulky. The phone sticks off the holder nearly a 1/4 inch. I was hoping for an OtterBox type holder, but it works perfectly fine. This is the reason for only 4 stars. SUMMARY. This case was easy to install. It does seem to not read biometric prints quite often but I found a solution online. You need to moisten your finger pad then press it down. I use my tongue, gross yes, but it works every time. It just needs to be lightly moistened. You can try water. It should work the same but I don't always have access to water when I need to unlock my phone. I also created 4 finger prints for the biometrics. 2 of each thumb. This seems to help make sure your print is read also. The case seems very durable and not too heavy. I do not use the clip attachment as it makes it too bulky but I could see using it when very active. I am very pleased with the quality, price and privacy screen. It does come with a 12 month Warranty. The only thing I would like more is if I could add a pop socket. The kickstand prevents this if you want it to function. It may be possible to add a pop socket if you don't mind losing the ability to open the kickstand. I have not tried to charge the phone wireless. It is not very thick so it should charge just fine. This case fits my S25 Ultra well. I really like the sliding cover that protects the camera lenses. The buttons align perfectly with those of the phone, and access to the S-Pen is simple. Just use your fingernail to catch the lip of the pen's end. The pattern of the otherwise hard, smooth back of the case makes it easy to hold securely. I didn't want a case using soft material everywhere, as this degraded on some of my old cases (not from this mfr.). It does use the rubberized (silicone, I assume) material around the edges. I assume that's to help absorb the impacts from everyday use where that protection is most needed. I find the fold-out stand to be very useful in landscape mode. Because the phone is so tall, it tends to tip over when I try to use the stand in portrait mode. That's not a big problem for me, though. I tried using the included frame & screen cover for the front, but was concerned about it interfering with the phone's under-screen fingerprint sensor. I'm using another manufacturer's glass screen protector instead. One note of caution: It's a large phone, and the case is fairly thick. That's good for protection, but together it makes the whole thing huge. I used the included snap-in holder on my belt just once. My wife laughed so hard that I gave up and just carry it in my pocket now. Frankly, it does look pretty awkward hanging there! But for those who wear a backpack, it might be pretty handy clipped onto a shoulder strap. In a perfect world, the phone would just magically shrink when it's time to put it away, but that's wishful thinking (yes, I've looked at foldables... my wife loves hers, but she carries it in her purse; that won't quite work for me!).
