I bought this for my 2.5 year old great nephew. His uncle is a percussionist and he's already brining him up to do the same. :) Of course, I had to open it and see how it worked. Once I got the gist of how to use it, which didn't take long, it was fun and calming. (I almost didn't want to put is away. I might have to get one for myself.) It comes with a small booklet that has a few songs. The tongues are numbered and the book also tells what the notes are that correspond to those numbers. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Super cute little drum. My kids love it for songs or just hearing the notes, almost like a meditation drum. It makes a nice sound when you strike it firmly and don't let the drumstick linger. Sometimes the higher notes are a bit fuzzy. The carrying case is awesome, I love that this is protected and able to be carried easily. Read more
These are so fun and pretty and everyone loves them from 2 years old to 62 years old! I think next, I shall have to buy one of my very own. You don't have to know music notes or be able to play a song to enjoy the soft sweet sounds of these drums. Read more
