this is a wonderful product. It's like Dr. Bill Davis's who talks about your gut and you gotta get it well before you do anything else, but it actually hits the lower part of your intestines, especially if you've had mold, or any kind of sibo. Great to make your yogurt with. Great probiotic… Lactobacillus REUTERI. Read more

Success. I have made successful, no duds, results using half and half dairy or full fat milk. The half and half is much thicker than the milk, both taste great. I brought the liquid to room temperature. Used two caps and Microingredients Inulin power. Great taste and results. Read more

I’ve been using it for a few months, I think it’s great, but many of the capsules were open and lost the insides in the container. Other than that, I recommend it! Read more

This LR08 Reuteri strain was isolated from inner Mongolian traditional fermented dairy product called milk tofu (this is not the tofu we normally think of). It’s made by Wecare Probiotics in China (search YouTube to see their facilities – they are massive, modern and very impressive). I think the raw probiotic powder is sent to the USA, is then tested and encapsulated here by the seller. I’m typically reluctant to use this type of product from China. However, seeing their facilities and quality certifications, as well as the lab testing results from the seller makes me very comfortable with this particular product. I’ve made a couple of probiotic yogurt batches with the powder and the probiotics are certainly live. I haven’t been eating the yogurt long enough to claim any significant health benefits, but I also drink homemade milk kefir every day so I get plenty of probiotics. Reuteri is one of the few probiotics that populates the small intestine so I’m adding this to my daily intake. There is no doubt that a healthy gut is a good thing. A really good thing. Prebiotics and probiotics help. Research based health claims from certain reuteri strains doesn’t mean other strains don’t have similar benefits. It just means the other strains weren't used in the research. There are research based claims for LR08, however in my opinion all research on reuteri isn’t concrete since they are mostly small studies and every human is different. The studies are promising, but not concrete. Anyway, I’ll do my own study and give it several months to find out how this will work for me. Read more

So far I have made 7 batches with 2 capsules. The first capsule faired poorly. The product at 36 hrs was as hard as feta cheese in a bath of whey. I cut the time down and got a fair amount of soft product at 16 hrs but decided to try another capsule. With the new capsule, I have cultured 2 perfect creamy results at 36 hours. I must mention that I consumed all the results including the feta cheese / whey product. In fact everything was tasty IMO. Most important is that from the beginning I noticed an improvement in my digestion and disposition. I wake up in the morning feeling wonderful. Yes, there really is something about L.Reuteri IMO. I have only used 2 capsules so far and make new batches with previous product. One noticeable change that I made on capsule 2 was to preheat the half and half with the inulin to 185, cooled it to 100, added the capsule for a 36 hour incubation. I incubate in a Ultimate Probiotic Yogurt Maker in the small cups. I consume 2 cups per day (AM/PM). I love it and feel 20 years younger ! Read more
