I read reviews, bought, tried and returned a few of these types of solar lights. These are a keeper! I bought them to use as Christmas decorations to brighten up my patio. I decided not to add the flowers for two reasons. 1) the plastic muted the light. They were pretty but I wanted maximum brightness. 2) I live in New England and thought the snow and wind wouldn't be kind to the plastic. I may attach the flowers during the summer. I love that the branches are strong wires wrapped in black so they can be shaped easily. I love that they look like a bouquet. The larger solar panel recharges the batteries better than any other brand I tried. The photos are taken just as the lights went on during a mid-December evening near Boston MA when the sun isn't as strong. The lights start to dim around Midnight, which is fine with me. The lights are very strong and bright. The flowers are durable and the colors are very nice. With that being said I wish that the feature that allows the colors to change would go a little bit slower. It feels like I’m in a disco. I had to change it so that the lights don’t blink at all. Another update. 5/25. Just bought my 5th set. Same as below. Batteries last up to 18 months. I buy lights that I can change batteries out. Finally after 2 years one set burned out. 2 Years!! By that time, battery case was rusted shut. NO BIG DEAL. My normal battery change is 6 months, never had any last that long, was OK with buying new. Best garden lights have ever purchased. AND I HAVE MANY MANY, Amendment 6/24 l Just bought my 4th set. All older still working. Best lights ever. I have just purchased my 3rd set of these. I have a LOT of outdoor lights, and I have never had one last as long as these with no battery change. My oldest are going on a year. GREAT BUY, and I have never given that review to any I have purchased before. These are pretty but the colors are not soft as they appear in the photo. I wanted something for spring but these look like Christmas lights. I will put them away to use during the holidays but not what I expected based on the photo. Read more
