Very Mildly Flavored Non-Fluoride Toothpaste (Ingredients Below)

P. AlleyDecember 28, 2025

If you must avoid fluoride or want mildly flavored toothpaste, this is acceptable, if not enjoyable. This non-fluoride toothpaste does not carry an ADA Seal of Acceptance or similar recommendation, although that might not be expected of a non-American product. The purple box might lead some to believe this is a purple toothpaste, but it is not (see photo). The flavor is very mild menthol/mint, and it doesn’t produce an overwhelming amount of foam. Hydrated Silica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), and Microcrystalline Cellulose provide the mild abrasives for cleaning and whitening while Hydroxyapatite is included to help remineralize tooth enamel. Sodium Phytate may remove some stains. I didn’t see the full list of ingredients on the product page, so I’ll include it below if you want to check them out. This is not my favorite toothpaste, but I’ll use it in rotation with ADA accepted styles, and with fluoride rinse. Maybe because it takes a lot of rinsing to remove the abrasives, my teeth don’t feel smooth and clean until after I’ve used my fluoride rinse. I can’t report seeing an improvement in whitening, but that is probably because I drink a lot of tea. The toothpaste I received was manufactured about 11 months before I received it but still has about 3 years before its expiration date. I did appreciate that the tube came with a foil freshness/safety seal under the cap. INGREDIENTS: AQUA, SORBITOL, HYDRATED SILICA, HYDROXYAPATITE, SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE, GLYCERIN, FLAVOR, CELLULOSE GUM, XANTHAN GUM, SODIUM PHYTATE, SODIUM SACCHARIN, POTASSIUM SORBATE, MENTHOL, MANNITOL, METHYLPARABEN, CI 77891, CI 77492, MICROCRYSTALLINE CELLULOSE, SUCROSE, METHYL DIISOPROPYL PROPIONAMIDE, ZEA MAYS (CORN) STARCH, HYDROGENATED LECITHIN, HYDROXYPROPYL METHYLCELLULOSE Read more

It's just okay

GravageNovember 24, 2025

I was looking for a toothpaste that could tackle the discoloration from my daily coffee habit, and the Tooth Refresh toothpaste delivered. I appreciate that it focuses on natural oral care while also addressing cosmetic concerns. The fresh breath effect is excellent and lasts a long time. The texture is smooth, and the flavor is clean and pleasant. After using this tube for a while, I noticed a visible difference; the surface stains from coffee, tea, and red wine appear much lighter. It feels gentle, but the results are professional. For a product that offers both enamel repair support and effective whitening, this is now my preferred daily toothpaste. Read more

Okay taste, nice foam

Vine ReviewerNovember 26, 2025

Did you see the funny photos of the women with an abundance of foam in their mouths in the photos here? That's what I was also like the first time I used this toothpaste. Perhaps I used too much that night, or my mouth was too wet... it does specify to wet your mouth first. I'm not sure. It hasn't really continued to be like that. I also bled the first night I used it. Presumably from my gums. The instructions are to brush for 3 minutes. I use a Sonic Care that brushes for 2 minutes. I know I got the extra minute in each time I've used the toothpaste because I turn it back on, used it, shut it off after hearing it switch 30sec and 60sec and stopped at 60sec because that makes 3 minutes for me. My guess with the bleeding was I was overworking my gums that are used to the normal 2 minutes. I was pleased with the taste. While it boasted fresh mint, I worried it might not actually taste good. It is a gamble ordering a brand you don't know. Maybe the ingredients were on the box, and I don't remember if I still have it or not, but I wish they were listed here on the Amazon page. I remember seeing them somewhere, so they must have been printed on the box. I remember for certain that there was not an inclusion of Fluoride, which is disappointing and almost made me want to skip it. I hope that I do see some reduction of coffee stains and other discoloration on my teeth from using this. Read more

Good quality, very light minty flavor, lots of foam

Retired in FloridaNovember 24, 2025

This toothpaste has a straightforward ingredient list that’s typical for non-fluoride formulas. It contains hydrated silica for gentle cleaning, hydroxyapatite to help with enamel support, sorbitol and glycerin for moisture and texture, plus cellulose gums and xanthan gum for thickness. It also uses sodium lauryl sulfate, so the foaming action is strong, and it includes menthol for mild mint flavor. Nothing in the list struck me as unusual or concerning for this type of toothpaste. In use, the toothpaste has a very mild minty flavor that is much softer than most mainstream brands. The foam level is significant - the longer you brush, the more foam that forms it seems to me. So even with a small amount it spreads well and gives your mouth that “fully coated” feel while brushing. After rinsing, my mouth feels clean and fresh without any harsh aftertaste. If you prefer a toothpaste that isn’t overpowering in flavor but still gives a fresh, just-brushed feeling, this one works well. Read more

Balanced Whitening Toothpaste With a Clinical Taste Profile

SamanthaNovember 21, 2025

The texture of this toothpaste is dense, creating a thick and stable foam during brushing. Flavor is almost neutral with only a light mint note, and the overall taste is similar to the clean, slightly clinical gels used in dental offices. Ingredients list is complete, and the formula is typical for whitening toothpastes that use hydroxyapatite and mild abrasives. It includes humectants, thickeners, a sweetener, and common preservatives, which are expected for this category of products. Some ingredients are listed too generally, such as the unspecified “flavor,” and there is one component with an unusual name. These details make the formula feel less transparent and prevent it from being perceived as a high-level or premium option. This toothpaste offers a dense-foam, basic formula that places it in the average range rather than the premium category. Read more
